"The usual. How I don't belong here. How I need to go back to my druggie ghetto and leave all the good white folk alone. I just heard somebody say they need to get you away from me before I corrupt you."
She paused, and when she spoke again, her voice was even-quieter. "Someone just called me a devil-child. Said I need to go back to the Distortion-World with Giratina, where I belong."
"Those racist bastards." Calvin grumbled. "And they don't care about me being corrupted. They just don't like seeing people whose skin ain't bleached pale." Minun heard him, and whispered to Chistery and Liax about it.
Maya looked deeply-upset. "Someone just suggested trying to chase me outta town. Or beating me. And they know mosta the cops here wouldn't do anything if they said they hurt me to try to protect you."
Maya smiled, taking his hand. She heard someone approaching behind her, and turned-around. And that's when she got hit in the face with a Slushie.
"Johto bitch!" She heard a woman hiss. But that didn't matter. Someone had added rock-salt to the Slushie, which made it even-more cold. Cold-enough to cause chemical-burns. My collapsed to the ground, hands over her face, screaming so hard that no sounds could be heard.
((Inspired by Glee If you add rock-salt to a Slushie, it would be chemically-altered and cold enough to cause second and third-degree chemical-burns))
