Yay for gyms, but I actually like Trials, just don't think they should be the sole main focus of the game in terms of replacing gyms.

Considering the way Sun & Moon went, I'm not surprised by the replacement of trials with gyms. The league and champions idea was really being pushed by the end of the game.

I just hope it's something more besides Alola 2 with a focus on story and not any new forms, megas, or regional variants. Don't get me wrong, I'm excited, but need some kind of wow factor.

I think that is the part that really led to the downfall of the possibilities SM could have had with trials - I would have wanted to experience a "grand trial" in place of a stupid league and champion.

Also, Hoshi is Kiawe's sister in the anime. I'd love it if she became our rival and a fire specialist!

As awesome as that sounds, something tells me it was completely unintentional in the naming of the game characters...

...or could be intentional. You just never know anymore with GF.

Pokemon Comet is also a possible name if its not called Stars specifically or Eclipse. Comets are also seen as shooting stars. Comets leave a trail of light and are composed of crystalline water ice, which could fit with Necrozma's appearance as well. That or Meteor.

Pokémon Eclipse, Meteor or Comet. If its really only about astronomical objects, meteors and comets would be the most common, reasonable guess concerning the name for the third game. Eclipses themselves aren't objects, but a cosmic phenomena. But ultimately, I'm just rough guessing here.

I just wish we could get a prominent fire type specialist in game. Also, there is potential for the first ever type specialist rival.
(I'm so delighted that IF Hoshi is Kiawe's sis here, she'll be most probably a fire specialist, my favourite type!)

If It REALLY Is Pokemon Stars, and it REALLY IS A Sequel to Sun & Moon:
A. Who's the Main Playable Boy & Girl Characters, Since Since Gladion is Older, SO Are Lillie, Hau, Elio and/Or Selene(Since they are Mutally EXCLUSIVE Characters, if you choose one than the Other Character doesn't exist, akin to Firered & Leafgreen, where Leaf is Absent when Red is chosen, and Vice Versa)
B. Who Could POSSIBLY Be the Main Antagonist, since Lusamine has Since Withdrawn from the World, and Gladion is the Leader of the Aether Foundation, and Team Skull has been Disbanded, WHO COULD POSSIBLY Be the Villain?!?!

I think they have a lot to announce tomorrow.

1. Main series of games (whether Switch or not)
2. Pokken Switch. (This evidence is backed up by a distributor in Japan, and Joe Merrick tweeted the leak on his Twitter too)
3. PokeLand. (It's alpha testing now, but it could be the next big mobile game)
4. Detective Pikachu action film. (We know a film is coming last year, but we stopped hearing about it.)
5. VC for GSC.

Gladion and the others growing up has nothing to do with it as look what happened in B2W2 - the main cast of BW had grown older, and we simply got a new cast with the older characters taking side roles.

B - again, who knows? Someone new? Skull remnants? Lusamine's left butt cheek as it fell off when she was diffused from Nihilego?

A. Game Freak have never done secondary regions outside of Gen II and their remakes. Don't expect it as GSC were made under the thought that they would be the last games, which GF changed their mind on after the series' storming success in the West.

B. No secondary games introduce new Pokemon. Like...ever. Alola Forms are form changes, so it's definitely a possibility that they could introduce more. I want to see more, honestly.

C. This is a disappointment for every mega fan, I think. But it's not a surprise considering megas were so left out in Sun & Moon, to the degree that most couldn't even be used as many of the mega stones weren't available in game, being left to online giveaways or tournament signups.

Although I COULD See Faba being a Villain; As I Always saw him as a Villain, Because He has the Villainous Back Posture(Hunched Back), the Villainous Chin-Beard, and the Face of A Thug!! If ANYONE Could be return to be the Main Antagonist, My First Guess would be Faba, without a Marshadow of a Doubt!! (rimshot)

Maybe he Could Possess Faba, the MOST Villainous-looking Member of the Aether Foundation, Maybe while Being Controlled by Necrozma, He COULD Overthrow Gladion, and Re-establish the Villainy of The Aether Foundation!!

A singular sequel shared by 3DS & Switch would be pretty damn great imo.

Imagine if they announce Stars as a sequel AND Sun/Moon ports for Switch.
