we learned that Ash will possibly be receiving an egg some time in the near future and on top of that we saw the episode 20 art what if this said egg is that meguroco. i know putting two and two together tends to leave some things unnoticed.
and with Dent what exactly do we know about him, he is a pokemon sommelier he doesnt have an affinity for any type so what will he catch maybe an assortment of randomness.
and Iris we know in the game she is a dragon trainer but will she follow that in the anime when its hinting that new mole is hers. it could be possible trade bait in the future like likitung was for jesse

How do you see the writers handling Ash's Issshu evolutions?

Back in Sinnoh we got what was his most fully evolved team to date. Chimchar, Turtwig, Starly, Gligar all reach their final forms. While Pikachu ( of course), Gible, and Buizel stayed unevolved.

Do you see Ash getting all three starters to fully evolve this season, or do you think it will be handled more of less like Kanto with few evolutions for his team?

I don't see the writers giving Ash a fully evolved team obviously. I mean:

Pikachu
Jalorda
Daikenki
Enbuoh
Waruvial
Kenhorou

That would be Ash's most stacked region team yet. As nice as it would be for some reason I feel that only Mamepato, and Mijumaru will fully evolve.

I think they'll fully evolve his flying pokemon and one of his starters.

Re: How do you see the writers handling Ash's Issshu evolutions?

I see Ash ending up with 2 fully evolved starters like he did in Sinnoh. For some reason I can't see him ending up with Jalorda though. Probably cause that's probably gonna be Shooti's main poke.

{And yes I know Ash and Paul both had a Torterra, but that was different.}

Like Masurao said, Mamepato and Mijumaru could be fully evolved, but I could see Tsutarja evolving into a Janovy too.

Unless they pull a Charmander with Pokabu and evolve it into a big douchebag.

The mole is confirmed hers. The preview for BW009 shows her sending it out.

As for the calendar the Zorua is probably on their because it was one of the first gen V pokemon revealed. The Munna has a possibility to be captured later(hopefully by Dento) but could be on their due to it's relation to the Dream World

With all the similarities to Kanto, perhaps they will keep 2 out of his three 'starters' unevolved?

Hopefully not anything like Johto.

Yeah, but Dent (probably) only has Yanappu right now.

Well, I think it's fair to say he could have a Yorterri right now, for all we know. He has one in the games, after all. I mean, nobody knew Iris had Doryuuzu until just recently.

I think possibly maybe 2/3 starters will evolve fully. Hopefully Mijumaru will only reach Futachimaru. Then I see Mamepato being fully evolved, and the crocodile reaching it's final stage.

I think tsutarja will become fully evolved and mamepato will be fully evolved. I think mijumaru will evolve once and pokabu will evolve once.

Re: How do you see the writers handling Ash's Issshu evolutions?

I see Pikachu staying the same (DUH!)
The bird evolving fully.
The water starter evolving fully.
The grass starter not evolving at all.
The fire starter evolving once or never (I also see it leaving his team for some reason...).
Depends on the the last Pokémon's personality (it might evolve fully, or get sent away.).

Those are my predictions. And I don't think evolving them matter at all to Ash, he will still get all the badges and lose the league in the top 4.

I think Mijumaru will fully evolve because it is in a sense technically Ash's starter pokemon(yes pikachu is his real starter) for that region. I mean that in the fact that the professor gave it to him as opposed to him catching it or finding it as a stray from a trainer. All pokemon obtained from a professor who were kept in a pokeball did evolve at some point. Examples include Gary's Blastoise, Cassey's Meganium, May's Blaziken, and May's Wartortle. Ash's Pikachu and Dawn's Piplup don't count since they stay out of their pokeball.

Gliscor'd,Cyndaquil was always Ash's strongest fire type pokemon and he didn't miss anyboat, stop making up fucking things that isn't true at all.

The Starters not evolving in Kanto or even Johto wasn't a distaster it was a good thing, the show isn't about Pokemom evolving, the writers don't do what we want them to do and the writers decide on wether Ash Isshu starters be fully evolve or not.

He most likely won't catch a 6th pokemon until later in the series. The reason being he usually doesn't go over the six on your belt at a time rule at all in any series. He will most likely release one too.

Jrmet1999,what are you dumb or something, this is the Isshu region which only have but new 5 Gen pokemon and since the Isshu region series is a reboot,Ash can have more Isshu pokemon then six this time around since there will only be new Isshu pokemon not old ones and the BW series is a reboot after all.

Does anybody heard me.

Won't evolve, obviously.

Mamepato
I think she will evolve fully; the gender difference between Kenhorou is something that'll be a minor plot point later on.

Mijumaru
I hope he evolves fully. I found him cute and endearing at first but I'm starting to get annoyed with him now.

Pokabu
I adore Pokabu. It's behaviour in the anime have made me like the Pokémon. I really hope he doesn't evolve, I dislike his two evolutions and it'd be too similar to Infernape.

Tsutarja
I'm unsure about this. I think she will evolve; but then you'd just have something similar to Ash and Paul's respective Torterra, with Shooti.

^ There's one thing Tsutarja seems to have (so far) that's different from Ash's Torterra...a distinct personality. If we get to see more of why she acted the way she did in her capture episode and some character development, that could lead to some wins and battle screentime as an evolved pokemon. Sorta like how Treecko was in AG and how it hated losing and it ended up evolving into Grovyle. So hopefully its character will let Tsutarja get some wins if it evolves and it won't be like Torterra.

That's a good point. There seemed to be a bit of back story there with it dwelling on Ash's determination and love for his Pokémon, whereas with Torterra, as soon as it evolved from Grotle it was sort of like "We can't be arsed figuring out how to properly continue your development now you're all big and slow and bulky, so you're getting sidelined."
