I hope someone comes up, claims the egg of Noibat and Ash decides to give it to that person. My eyes would bleed if I see Noibat evolving. It may be fast, but Noivern is one of the ugliest Pokémon of the region. And potentially the ugliest Pokémon Ash ever captured.

We know that he'll evolve though.

No it isn't. Noivern is an awesome pokemon with great design.

I didn't. Thanks for letting me know the worst news of a long distance.

Nothing wrong with Noivern.

Noibat and Noivern actually have really grown on me, I am actually using Noivern on my X/Y team. I think Noibat in the anime has an adorable personality and it will be great if it evolved.

The egg was literally found in the wilderness unhatched. How on earth would a trainer be able to identify it and claim it as their own?

I've been over Noibat/Noivern for a while now, so Ash ditching his wouldn't bother me, although I don't see it happening unless Goodra comes back and takes its spot as Ash's Dragon-type. That'd still leave one slot left on Ash's team for Mega Charizard Y hopefully.

I rather have Mega Glalie. Noibat isn't going anyway and I doubt Goodra is returning.

That's nice. I don't care though, I still prefer Mega Charizard Y despite the hatred that some have for it.

Alain or Trevor could use Y. Ash can use Ash-Greninja and/or Mega Glalie. No one said anything about hating.

I still don't think Mega Glalie would make a lot of sense honestly, over Ash's Charizard getting a Mega. He's not getting one in XY obviously, but Glalie just wouldn't make sense as his first Mega if he ever does get a Mega, in Gen VII even.

Something special needs to happen with Pikachu. We have Ash-Greninja, Infernape with Blaze (which will eventually get a mega), Sceptile has a mega and Charizard has a mega. Pikachu doesn't have anything like that compared to Ash's other big powerhouses. Pikachu needs something more unique than just being a strong Pikachu.

It makes sense since it is a Hoenn Pokemon. Glalie could be the mega and represent ORAS. Or he can just mega evolve a gen 6 or 7 pokemon.

I agree on wanting to see Mega-Glailie over mega charizard (so played out and done with it). The reasoning they are giving is that Glalie shouldn't mega evolve because Ash doesn't have a super strong bond with it, although I could see how the writers give a reason that Ash has just as strong a bond with all of his Pokemon, since he'd do anything for them. Also, strong bonds aren't so necessary it seems considering James mega evolved a garchomp that didn't even belong to him and had literally met him 20 minutes prior.

Say whatever you want, but either way, I will never think that Glalie getting a Mega Evolution before Charizard will ever make sense. Its kinda obvious also that the writers have a certain bias towards Charizard as much as some may not like it. Based on how the writers always favor having Charizard return every few seasons, everything Charizard has been through with Ash, and Charizard's overall popularity with the fans, it makes a whole lot more sense to me. Ash has a close bond with all Pokemon, but I do think he's a lot closer to Charizard than Glalie.

I get that you wanna see Mega Glalie more and you're sick of seeing Charizard, but I just don't see the writers giving Ash one right now, based on the past. Mega Glalie will probably appear someday before Gen VII, but probably not through Ash. Maybe if we're really lucky, Wulfric will use one.

There is no such thing as ORAS hype anymore. Upcoming Pokemon Z is what the anime is focusing now. Any Hoenn Pokemon that might have joined the cast should've been added when ORAS was the big new thing.

Also, I remember someone commenting on Ash-Greninja as "They want to give Ash a Mega Pokemon and not at the same time" which is on point. Greninja is Ash's "Mega" and besides, they're story has just begun, no need to overshadow Ash-Greninja with Megas.

Yeah the ORAS hype has kinda died out and it has been over a year since ORAS came out. The anime is focusing a lot more on the Pokemon Z we're all waiting for, with these Zygarde forms and all. If any new megas happen in that game, those megas will probably get more focus.

Also yeah the whole mega overshadowing Ash-Greninja has come up a few times. Ash is not getting a Mega just yet.

Speculation time:
Ash:
Pikachu - I like to see it have Wild Charge instead of Electro Ball.
Greninja - Water Shruiken, Aerial Ace, Night Slash and Hydro Pump.
Talonflame - Brave Bird, Razor Wind, Flamethrower and Solar Beam.
Hawlucha - X-Scissor, Flying Press, High Jump Kick and Bounce.
Noivern - Boom Burst, Draco Meteor, Steel Wing and Air Slash.
6th capture - Carbink/Klefki/Skiddo/Phantump/Honedge/Espurr/Bergmite

Returning pokemon:
Goodra - Dragon Pulse, Power Whip, Aqua Tail and Sludge Wave. (Unlikely but who knows).
Charizard - Flamethrower, Air Slash, Dragon Tail, Solar Beam. (I don't want this to happen but not my call. Should only appear for mega evolution only).

Satoshi's party is good just the way it is, I'd rather him get a 6th later then now because that would mean Numelgon or someone else could get shafted.

I feel as TR need a new Pokemon soon, because Kojiro still has one Pokemon, and it definetly needs Bokurei or else that would mean the tradition of Grass- types will soon change :( The party usually consists of 5/4 Pokemon (if you don't count Nyarth.
