The only two pokemon that didn't evolve in Sinnoh were Gible and Buizel. Gible came in late so it's okay it didn't evolve and Buizel suffers from the writers not evolving main water types. But with BW that trend might come to a close as Ash is revealed to capture Mijumaru and they've been fully evolving the starters Ash gets since Hoenn so I see that as likely. Besides Best Wishes is likely to be around 190+ episodes whether it be one big region or have a filler saga at the end the writers still have a lot of episodes to develop and evolve Ash's pokemon. But we still have to take into account Iris' and Dento's captures/evolutions but they did state it would be faster paced and until we know exactly what they meant by that we're stuck speculating

just cause he caught gible late doesnt mean nothing because he caught snorunt late And he evolved.

but like i said its highly unlikely he is going to evolve every pokemon he gets. he catches at least 5 dento catches a few and iris might get a full team so between all of their catches and a ton of random filling episodes gym battles and league battles that he may or may not use region specific pokemon all the time where will the time come for everything to completely pan out. im waiting for things to come full circle and we get a full birds eye view into every pokemon available and if people will change their minds about the starters when they see the evolved forms

^^The show is called pokemon so I don't know why it should only be about the trainers, it should also be about the pokemon so they aren't mindless battling machines. The whole league arc should be on the battlefield since that's what the league is, a battling competition.

The show is an advertisement for the games, it always has been

Why shouldn't the writers focus on the pokemon they are the reason a lot of people watch the show, or would you rather watch a show with the same characters except the fight eachother by throwing empty balls at eachother?
I said less did you read properly before commenting.
in other words it should more like kanto and mabye johto (i didnt even realise only one pokemon evolved in johto till about a year because it wasnt as boring sinnoh) hoenn was forgettable, i never really paid it much attention.
It suppose to be advertising, not boring like it really is an advertisement(thats why they are selling it off as an anime but it not really working now because they got greedy, most pokemon have their own episode it kind of obvious).

Well a lot of people believe the writers have improved greatly since Kanto and Johto. And Johto advertised Pokemon all the time too, remember all the fillers? Since the Pokemon make the show, I think they should get some development too.

The humans still get development as well - Dawn was overconfident, became depressed, and then finally became a great co-ordinator.

is anyone else not enjoying the proposed final evolutions for the new starters i just cant get a good feel for them especially the water and grass ones pokabu i can live with. the water one looks like a weird dialga suicune cloyster fusion that doesnt seem to fit the line at all. and the grass one has this regal arrogance about it and just doesnt sit right at all it loses arms and legs (its a snake i know but they could have kept the arms)it could just be me. what does everyone else think

You're right about that. The writers are finally making sense since they gave Brock a goal he has been deserving for years. Plus the way they are making new characters seem like they do care about originality.

A lot of those people are delusional , losing 1-3 times then winning isnt development(that was like only 3, terribly boring episodes out of almost 200)
The characters didnt even interact with one another, other than mabye at the begining, the most they do is give battle orders thats it for their role, before ash and company would have done more but after a pokemon leaves its ball the ash and other are phased out and if there going to be development for any pokemon they make it that the entire episode(Chimchar), the staraptor episode was almost a carbon copy of the swellow episode ( because they had to use a whole episode, why not just some random fight)
Charizard's evolutions were not expected or wasted whole episodes yet its probably the most memorable character that is a pokemon.
The same people say ash got mature (wrong he just lose the personality because it would take time to show it, which they a wasting on the pokemon) the old ash was fun(he a boring background character now so are all other humans because they dont even sell close to as much merchandise as the pokemon, thats only reason).
You cant tell me no one doesnt gets my point, if so your just seriously in denial the show didnt get better(i dont even now why i still watch it, probably because of the memories not too sure)
And caseydia are you talking about the last episode brock did something, worst character to use in making your point, i truly forgot he was part of the show sometimes(im completely serious, and im sure he was in all the episodes),that episode was just the mean to get rid of him.
The creators know all this to be true but why stop when they are making money.

P.S
Those starters are the worst ever(tie with meganium, not bayleaf it was better),wonder if they are really real.

P.S.S
I think dento might have brothers in the anime with the other two monkeys, could explain how he leaves the gym (they probably have blue and red hair)then again probably not.

If those starter evolutions are real, then they are without a doubt the worst designs i have ever seen in any starter pokemon. I hope ash evolves mijumaru once only and not into that awful looking final form

The starters just keep getting worse and worse generation after generation

Gotta say, if Dento really has three monkeys on his team, it's gonna be pretty weird to say in the show. DP couldn't even handle two monkeys for very long.

the last two series of starters were overall as good or better then jhoto. but i agree that this group if real will be hands down the absolute worse i dont honestly see one stater i would end up keeping in my party. let alone seeing Ash with one of those would be unbearable

There's three gym leaders in Dento's gym, I suspect each one has a monkey so Dento would only have the grass one.

I strongly disagree. Each gen has some good loking starter form and all gens have some butt ugly ones. As for this generation of starters, I like some designs and dislike others. I like the overall chineseness of the designs if that makes sense.

Gym trainers, actually; Dento's the only leader. And isn't he supposedly showcasing the triple battles in the game? That and the triple-colored badge suggests he may just have all three, which again would be pretty weird for a party member.

Maybe Dento has all three, but he leaves behind all but Yanappu at the gym.

I'll be suprised if they are real, the hands on otter-bear look like they've been drawn wrong. I quite like the design though, theres also one someones done with it wearing a sort of samurai shell armour which I think would be fun....and now theres one I've done which looks like Otter 11 playing the clam castanets...I think I'll keep that off the internet though.

There are three trainers standing atop the stairs. One has Green hair, one has blue, and one has red. The badge is all three of those colors, and those colors represent the colors of the grass water and fire types. It is very likely that there are three leaders.

I have to say, I really like the sound of the monkey trio so far (and would be kind of cute together on the main team), yet at the same time I have to say wasting three spots of Dento's permanent team on what is basically the same Pokemon in essence would be a waste. So, keep Yanappu, and have the others stay at the gym.

i havent seen enough pokemon to even create a whole team so far and that holds true especially oif the starter evos stay the way they are.
Gochiruzeru, the crocodile, and that tarantula we saw in the beginning and that is it.
is anyone even remotely impressed with the starter evos as a whole

So it seems we wont get a repeat of the DP scenario, and Ash will start his journey with Pikachu only. My,the series hasnt started yet and we already now half of his team! Memepato....Pika and Miju...Looks like it will be fun.

Hopefully he manages to capture that female Tsutarja and that pokabu,Ash needs more femenine pokemon!Danwit!

So just for clarification, Shooti does seem to own the Tsutarja and uses it to vs. Ash and Pikachu in the first episode according to the summaries.

Meaning that we're going to have two Tsutarja in the anime. One is Shooti's, and the other is the female Tsutarja.

Who's that going to go to, who knows. Since Ash was the one battling it in the wild, he may be the one to catch it. We'll see though.
