Niantic has announced that Bahasa Indonesia language support has been added to Pokémon GO. Both new and existing players can now set Bahasa Indonesia as their in-game language.

Future events in Indonesia will receive Bahasa Indonesia language announcements on the pokemongolive website, on Instagram @PokemonGOAppID, and on Facebook at PokemonGOAppID.

To celebrate the launch of this new language, the Waktu Indonesia Nangkep event will be running for Trainers physically located in Indonesia until January 8th, at 8:00 p.m. local time. This event is not tied to Trainer's language selection, so Trainers in Indonesia will be able to take advantage of these various bonuses and activities regardless of if they have selected Bahasa Indonesia language in-game or not. Similarly, selecting the Bahasa Indonesia language outside of Indonesia will not enable access to the event for Trainers outside the country.

  • 2× Hearts available when adventuring with buddy Pokémon
  • 2× Catch XP
  • Chance of daily surprise encounters when GO Snapshots are taken
