Pokémon GO celebrates the start of the Year of the Tiger with Lunar New Year Event, debut of Shiny Litleo

The Lunar New Year 2022 event has started in Pokémon GO, and will be running through until February 7th, at 8:00 p.m. local time. The Shiny variant of the Lion Cub Pokémon, Litleo is also making its Pokémon GO debut with the beginning of the Year of the Tiger.

Event Bonuses
During this event, the following bonuses will be active:

• Increased chance for Lucky Pokémon in trades
• Increased chance to become Lucky Friends
• Double Stardust from opening Gifts
• 1 extra special trade per day - active until February 8th, at 1:00 p.m. PST (–8 GMT)
