Pokémon GO marks the international release of Pokémon Horizons with a new collaboration event, starting March 5th

Pokémon Horizons: The Series Celebration Event - Featuring Charcadet, Ceruledge, Armarouge, and Pikachu wearing Cap's Hat
During the Pokémon Presents video presentation for Pokémon Day, it was announced that an event focusing on Pokémon from the animation Pokémon Horizons: The Series will be coming to Pokémon GO. This Pokémon Horizons: The Series Celebration Event will run from March 5th at 10:00am to March 11th at 8:00pm local time. Charcadet, Armarouge, Ceruledge, and Pikachu wearing Cap's hat will all make their Pokémon GO debuts during this event.

Charcadet can be evolved by battling Pokémon while Charcadet is set as the buddy. It evolves into Armarouge after defeating 30 Psychic-type Pokémon, and into Ceruledge after defeating 30 Ghost-type Pokémon. Charcadet itself does not have to defeat these Pokémon.

Event Bonuses and Activities
The following event bonuses will be active during the event period:
  • 2× XP for hatching Pokémon
  • Team GO Rocket balloons will appear more frequently
Additionally, PokéStop Showcases for event-themed Pokémon will be running throughout the event period at different PokéStops.

Pikachu wearing Cap's hat that are encountered during the event will know the new Charged Attack Volt Tackle. In Trainer Battles, this move has Volt Tackle has 90 power, and decreases Defense by one stage. In Gyms and raids, this move has 90 power, with no additional effects.

Event-themed Field Research tasks will be available. When these tasks are completed, Trainers will receive encounters with a variety of different Pokémon (see below).

Surprise encounters

When Trainers take GO snapshots during this event, Liko and Roy, the main characters of Pokémon Horizons: The Series may appear together with Pokémon featured in the series including Sprigatio, Fuecoco, and Quaxly. If Liko appears, Sprigatito can be encountered; if Roy appears, Fuecoco can be encountered.

Event Bundles in the Web Store
March 1st at 10:00am (PST) and March 11th at 10:00pm (PDT), the Pokémon GO Web Store will be offering a special Ultra Legend Box for USD$14.99 (or the equivalent pricing tier in each local currency). This bundle includes 3 Remote Raid Passes, 10 Premium Battle Passes, and 10 Incubators.

All Pokémon listed below with a ⁂ next to their name can also be encountered in their Shiny variants.

Wild encounters
The following Pokémon will appear more frequently in the wild during this event:

The following Pokémon will appear in raids during this event:

Eggs
During this event, Charcadet will hatch from 2 km, 5 km, and 10 km Eggs. After this event concludes, Charcadet will remain available to hatch, but only from 10 km Eggs.

Field Research task encounters
Completing event-themed Field Research tasks will award Trainers with encounters with the following Pokémon:
  • Pikachu wearing Cap's hat ⁂
  • Golduck
  • Skarmory ⁂
  • Rockruff ⁂
  • Sprigatito
  • Fuecoco
  • Quaxly
