In this thread we may discuss the Pokémon GO Plus. More information on it can be found on Bulbapedia:

What are your thoughts on it? Did you buy it or consider buying it, or do you think it is not worth it? Perhaps buying Coins instead of it is a better investment, albeit short-term? For those who have it, are you satisfied with how much it does, do you use it a lot daily?

Personally I haven't bought it yet but I'm seriously considering it, mostly for the walking distance. Spinning PokéStops and catching Pokémon isn't that much of a concern.

EDIT: A Ring Option is getting released in Japan (for now):

I purchased one, for the sole reason of being able to use it at work. I think it would have been great if the Pokemon GO plus could bypass the speed limit prohibitions the app has, as the GO plus allows you to play safely without the need to check your phone while driving.

I'm considering buying it again. Not right now as I have lots of time for sessions and can keep the app open almost all the time when I'm out. But after university starts I won't have this much time.
I also tend to be against "pay to win" and prefer playing freemium games the free way, but this one is an exception; I wouldn't feel that bad to support Niantic for all it's done for this game.
