Pokémon GO postpones in-game events marking the launch of Pokémon Air Adventures

The previously announced Pokémon GO event that was intended to commemorate the launch of Pokémon Air Adventures has now been postponed to an unspecified date, due to ongoing increase in COVID-19 cases in Japan, and around the world.

This event, which was originally scheduled to start from July 22, 2021, will introduce a special Pikachu wearing an Okinawan kariyushi shirt in Okinawa, Japan, as well as Shiny Corsola in places around the equator (specifically between 26° and 36° latitude). We'll report the new scheduled day as soon as that is announced.
