In a message posted to their official Twitter account earlier today, Pokémon GO developers Niantic have announced that they will be withdrawing all of their games from Russia and Belarus. The company joins a host of other western firms who have either paused operations in Russia, or have left the country entirely, in response to Russia's devastating invasion of Ukraine.

Earlier this month, Niantic revealed that the company and its employees had already made a combined $275,000 USD in donations towards humanitarian organizations focused on supporting the people of Ukraine whose lives have been upturned by Russia's aggression.
