Pokémon GO Tour celebrations expand further with the Road to Sinnoh event, bridging February's live event in Los Angeles and the free Global event

Earlier this week, Niantic announced the Road to Sinnoh, a preparatory event before the Pokémon GO Tour: Sinnoh – Global event in late-February. Starting the day after the Pokémon GO Tour: Sinnoh – Los Angeles live events, Road to Sinnoh will run from February 19th, at 10:00am to February 23rd, at 10:00pm local time, and features opportunities for encounters with a variety of Pokémon originally discovered in this region. Two paid tickets will be available for this event, with bonuses that will continue through to Pokémon GO Tour: Sinnoh - Global.

Event Bonuses and Activities
The following event bonuses will be active during the event period for all Trainers:

• 1/2 Egg Hatch Distance when Eggs are placed in an Incubator during the event period
• The Remote Raid Pass limit will be increased to 10 from February 19th to February 22nd
• There will be no limit on Remote Raids from February 23rd to February 25th

New Avatar Items and Stickers
The following avatar items will be available to purchase in the in-game shop starting from this event:

• Giratina Helmet
• Giratina Wings
• Giratina Jacket
• Diamond Clan Outfit
• Diamond Clan Boots
• Pearl Clan Outfit
• Pearl Clan Boots
• Team Galactic Outfit

In addition, a GO Tour 2024 Tee will be available for free in the in-game shop starting from this event.

All of these new avatar items will continue to be available after the end of the this event.

Between February 19th, at 9:00am and February 25th, at 8:00pm local time, Trainers will be able to receive Pokémon GO Tour: Sinnoh-themed stickers by spinning PokéStops, and opening Gifts. These same stickers will also be available for purchase in the in-game shop ahead of the event, starting from February 16th, at 9:00am, and running through until February 25th, at 8:00pm local time.

Timed and Field Research
Free Pokémon GO Tour: Sinnoh–themed Timed Research and Field Research will be available as part of this event. Trainers completing the Timed Research tasks will receive encounters with a selection of different regionally appropriate Pokémon, while Trainers completing Field Research tasks will receive a collection of items intended to help Trainers prepare for Pokémon GO Tour: Sinnoh – Global.

Paid Tickets
Two separate paid tickets for this event will be available for purchase for US$5.00 (or the equivalent pricing tier in each local currency) from February 19th at 10:00 a.m. to February 25th at 6:00 p.m. local time. Each ticket features unique Timed Research tasks, rewards, and bonuses. The tickets are not mutually exclusive, and Trainers can purchase either or both of these tickets as they wish. These tickets can also be gifted to any friend with a Friendship level of Great Friends or higher.

The bonuses from these tickets will remain active up until February 25th at 8:00pm local time. All tasks associated with these Timed Research opportunities must be completed and their rewards must be claimed before this time.

Road to Sinnoh: Raids
The following event bonuses will be active during the event period for Trainers who have purchased this ticket:

• Additional 5,000 XP from completed raids
• 1 additional Candy awarded for catching Pokémon in raids
• 2 additional Raid Passes from spinning Photo Discs at Gyms each day

Timed Research exclusive to this ticket will also be available. Trainers completing these Timed Research tasks will receive the following items as rewards:

• 10 Dialga Candy
• 10 Palkia Candy
• 5 Heatran Candy XL
• 5 Giratina Candy XL
• 5 Cresselia Candy XL
• 5 Darkrai Candy XL
• Eevee Fan Mask

Road to Sinnoh: Hatch
The following event bonuses will be active during the event period for Trainers who have purchased this ticket:

• 2× Hatch XP
• 2× Hatch Candy
• 2× Hatch Stardust

Timed Research exclusive to this ticket will also be available. Trainers completing these Timed Research tasks will receive a Pikachu Fan Mask avatar item, as well as encounters with event-themed Pokémon (see below).
