Pokémon GO's Winter Holidays event begins December 15th - Features Pokémon GO debuts of Shiny Bergmite and Mega Glalie

Niantic has announced details for the first part of 2022's Winter Holiday event in Pokémon GO, which running from December 15th at 10:00am to December 23rd at 10:00am local time. This event will feature the Pokémon GO debuts of both Shiny Bergmite and Mega Glalie.

Event Bonuses and Activities

• 50% more XP for winning Raid Battles.
• Trainers can store up to 40 Gifts until the end of the event.

Timed Research
An event-exclusive Timed Research will be available for purchase at US$5 (or the equivalent pricing tier in each local currency) until December 30th at 8:00pm local time. This Timed Research can also be gifted to any Pokémon GO friends that they have achieved a Friendship level of Great Friends or higher with. When the research tasks are completed, Trainers will earn an event-themed avatar pose, two Incubators, one Incense, Abomasnow Mega Energy, and various event-themed Pokémon encounters. The associated tasks must be completed and their rewards must be claimed before December 31st at 8:00pm local time.

Stickers
Trainers will be able to receive event-themed stickers during this event by spinning PokéStops and opening Gifts, These stickers will also be able for purchase directly from the in-game shop.
