So I thought id make a post with my advice if anyone else ends up getting into this game style
clear out your inventory of everything besides what you want to use! probably even clear out as many pokemon as you can to clean up the interface but I like bringing my shiny tribe along with me.
make sure your characters elbow is all the way pulled back before you throw.
play around with the timing. seems like once you enter slow mode you lose most your momentum so make sure to clear w.e your trying to jump first.
im currently hunting down spots if anyone has any suggestions.
