Gen 9 looks GREAAAT. Hoping they didn't backtrack on what they did in Legends.
From what we've seen, I think it's safe to assume that's the case.

I'm cautiously optimistic then. Not sure I like Gen 9 being released so early but I assume it was developed alongside Legends. From what we've seen, I think it's safe to assume that's the case.
Honestly, given how barren Legends is, and its short storyline, I think it's perceived as being larger and more work than it actually is.I'm calling it, these games are going to feel rushed. I cannot see them handling two large scale console games back to back well. Should've spent an extra year on this.
Yeah, it is a very bad idea to release the games so soon. I was literally saying "well hopefully they don't release until 2023" when the "coming late 2022" banner popped up lmao. There's no way they can release a mainline Pokemon game with the level of polish it deserves under these kinds of deadlines.I'm calling it, these games are going to feel rushed. Consider the timing, though. If they release Gen 9 now, they can take four years to work on Gen 10 in time for their 30th anniversary, which is probably what they're planning.Yeah, it is a very bad idea to release the games so soon. Sure, but it's pretty lousy to essentially throw Gen IX's quality under the bus in exchange.Consider the timing, though. If they release Gen 9 now, they can take four years to work on Gen 10 in time for their 30th anniversary, which is probably what they're planning.

Do they? We barely saw anything, and what we saw just kind of looked on par with SwSh with maybe some more dynamic townsfolk. We really don't know how long these were in development for. They look more polished than Legends but gameplay wise we'll have to see if it's gonna be on par, better or worse.
Well, they had to mince it some way. Better that Gen 10 get the four years than Gen 9, because that means 10 will get more time and experience applied to it, and also piggyback off of 9's progress.Sure, but it's pretty lousy to essentially throw Gen IX's quality under the bus in exchange.
The open world areas don't have much in them, though. They seem big, but they could have just as well made them on a smaller scale and then scaled them up and added sparse details. If there was more to it, I think you'd have a point, but the textures aren't particularly artistically applied and it doesn't take that much effort to paste some trees and rocks around.IDK, open world areas and detailed animations are nothing to sneeze at. And if that's what we got for LA, does that also mean SV is going to be equally barren?
So I'm really gonna have to find that big Buizel, huh?The Eternal Battle Reverie will become available after completing all missions.
That's a request, not a mission.Official site for the Day Break update:
