Pokémon Legends: Arceus receives Day 0 patch ahead of launch

We're still a few hours away from the official release of Pokémon Legends: Arceus, however that hasn't stopped the game receiving it's very first patch.

The patch notes, released first on the Japanese Official Pokémon Blog, are, sadly, as minimalist and vague as those accompanying Nintendo's (in)famous firmware updates to improve system stability. The official English translation via Nintendo of America's customer support website is similarly lacking in detail.

Given the lack of information provided, it's hard to tell if this update will actually make a meaningful difference to players or not. Initial reviews have raised some concerns regarding the game's graphical presentation, but it's not clear at this point if this may resolve some of those, or if it's fixing bugs many players might never have noticed anyway.
