Pokémon Masters EX commences the Run-Up to its 4.5 Year Year Anniversary Celebrations this Sunday with new Story Event and Gladion Master Fair Scout

A brief trailer has been released to the Pokémon Masters EX official YouTube account, highlighting new events and Master Fair Scouts starting in game this Sunday at 10:00pm (PST), and running over the coming month in advance of the game's 4.5 anniversary celebrations. More information on other upcoming anniversary events are expected to be released in the regular letter from the game's producers at the end of this month, as well as in the Pokémon Presents presentation expected to drop on Pokémon Day on February 27th.

Story Event: Mechanized—Love and Solitude
This new Story Event, focusing on Gladion as he defends Magearna and worked to help find its family, will begin in game on February 18th, at 10:00pm (PST), and run through to March 3rd, at 9:59pm (PST). More information on how the event will be run, including what rewards can be received, and what sync pairs players will be able to use to receive bonus rewards, will be available once the event has gone live in-game.

Master Fair Scouts with new and returning Alolan Sync Pairs
Master Fair Scouts for Gladion, Lillie, and Lusamine in their Master Sync Pairs will each be running over the coming weeks alongside the 4.5 Anniversary Celebrations.

Gladion Master Fair Scout
Sygna Suit Gladion & Magearna will make their debut in a Master Fair Scout on February 18th, at 10:00pm (PST), alongside the start of the Mechanized—Love and Solitude Story Event. This scout will run through to March 31st, at 10:59pm (PDT).

Sygna Suit Gladion & Magearna are a Fairy-Type Strike Sync Pair with an unlockable Spring EX Role. Their Buddy Move, which does more damage when opponent's Sp. Atk is lowered, synergises with their Passive Skill which lower opponent's Sp. Atk.

Lillie and Lusamine Master Fair Scouts
Lillie (Anniversary 2021) & Lunala and Sygna Suit Lusamine & Necrozma, who last featured in Master Fair Scout in early 2023, will each be making their return in their own Master Fair Scouts. Lillie's scout will run from February 20th at 10:00pm (PST), through to March 22nd at 10:59pm (PDT), while Lusamine's scout will start and end two days later, running from February 22nd at 10:00pm (PST), through to March 24th at at 10:59pm (PDT). Both pairs are receiving upgrades alongside these scouts, with Lillie (Anniversary 2021) & Lunala receiving a new Tech EX Role, while Sygna Suit Lusamine & Necrozma receives a new Support EX Role.

10-Pair Scout Log-in Bonus
Between February 18th at 10:00pm (PST) and March 17th at 10:59pm (PDT), players will receive up to 10 special 10-Pair Scout Tickets as log-in bonuses, at a rate of one ticket per day. These tickets can be used exclusively in a special 10-Pair Scout. Assuming this scout operates in the same manner as the 10-Pair Scout that was held for the game's previous anniversaries, it can be expected to include all Sync Pairs within the general pool, including 5★ Sync Pairs. Additionally, as noted in the trailer, previous Poké Fair Scout-exclusive Sync Pairs will also be added to this 10-Pair Scout. The trailer showcases 43 different Sync Pairs who will apparently be included in this scout, including recently released fan faves such as Iono and Grusha. More information, including offering rates and the last day these scout tickets can be redeemed, will be available once this scout has gone live in-game.

Special Sync Pair Event: Riley & Lucario
Riley will make his debut in Pokémon Masters EX together with his partner Lucario in this new Special Sync Pair Event, which will run from February 18th at 10:00pm (PST), through to March 30th at 10:59pm (PDT). All players who complete the event will be able to add this new Sync Pair to their teams.

4.5 Year Celebration Sweepstakes
Pokémon Masters EX is currently holding a special sweepstakes, offering players the chance to receive a custom Metallic Art Print of Gladion, Lillie, and Lusamine, as seen in the Mechanized—Love and Solitude Story Event.

A total of 15 of these Metallic Art Prints are up for grabs, with 5 being awarded to residents of the United States or Canada (excluding Quebec), and a further 10 on offer for residents of Japan. To enter, players must follow the appropriate Pokémon Masters EX account for their region on X (@PokemonMasters or @pokemas_game), and then reposting the official contest post (English / Japanese) prior to February 27th, at 6:59am (PST) / 11:59pm (JST). Winners will be selected sometime in April this year, with prizes expected to be delivered starting in June.
