Professor Bellis and a Mysterious Stone
For the first time since the conclusion of the Villain Arc, a new chapter is making its debut in Pokémon Masters EX with the addition of the Mysterious Stones to the game's Main Story. Also debuting today is the game's first Mix Scout, featuring Red in his new 5★ Sync Pair with Venusaur.

The Mysterious Stones
This chapter focuses on Professor Bellis, and her investigation of the Mysterious Stone items that have recently started appearing on Pasio.

Players will be able to require Mysterious Stone items as completion rewards from Daily Region Rotation battles, as well as rarely from Trainer Lodge expeditions and Training Areas.
The Main Story chapter will unlock for players after they acquire their first Mysterious Stone item, with the What Rei Found story mission unlocking after player's manage to find 10 stones.

Alongside this new Main Story chapter, a selection of new rewards have been added to the Monthly Exchange Items menu, which players can acquire by trading the Mysterious Stones they've found. Trading Mysterious Stones in this way does not impact unlocking areas for the Mysterious Stones Chapter, which tracks stones aquired rather than stones on hand.

Mysterious Stones is still in development, and more content for the chapter will be released at a later date.

Red & Venusaur
Red Mix Scout

Pokémon Masters EX today is receiving its first new format of Sync Pair Scout in some time, with the new Mix Scout. Mix Scouts are a new form of long term scout, whose lineup will change roughly every six months, allowing players to accrue Scout Points in many scouts over time. The Mix Scout can only be used up to three times a day, one each for each of the following options, which all require Paid Gems:
  • Sync Pair Scout x 1: 100 Paid Gems
  • Sync Pair Scout x 3: 300 Paid Gems
  • Sync Pair Scout x 5: 500 Paid Gems
When each Mix Scout expires, all accrued scout points from the Mix Scout will carry over onto the new one.

Some Sync Pairs will be exclusively available through Mix Scouts, starting with Red & Venusaur, who make their debut today with the Red Mix Scout.

Red & Venusaur are a Field Sync Pair with the ability to be raised to 6★ EX and unlock a Strike EX Role. In addition to several defensive options, Red & Venusaur are able to lay down Grassy Terrain using their Max Overgrowth Max Move, activating their powerful Giga Frenzy Plant Buddy Move which strikes multiple opponents without a reduction of power as well as lowering targets Sp. Def by two stat ranks. This move combos with their Kanto Journey Legacy Passive Skill, which turns all their successful attacks to critical hits, allowing this pair to deal significant Grass-type damage to the entier opposing team. Red & Venusaur's Trainer Costume is the same as for Red & Snorlax, and the pair does not have a unique EX Style when raised to 6★ EX, nor a Sync Pair story.

A selection of other sync pairs available in the Red Mix Scout

In addition to the featured pair, a wide variety of other 5★ pairs can also be found in the Mix Scout, including several pairs previously exclusive to Costume, Seasonal, and Poké Fair Scouts. The full list of pairs, including their offering rates, can be found in-game.

The Red Mix Scout will run through to April 30th, at 10:59pm (PST).

Raihan & Duraludon
Monthly Poké Fair Scout Vol. 15

The Fair-Exclusive 5★ Raihan & Duraludon are the featured Sync Pair for the latest Monthly Poké Fair Scout in Pokémon Masters EX. This scout will remain available until November 30th, at 9:59pm (PST). Players who have scouted the pair, from this Monthly Scout or elsewhere, will also now be able to invite Raihan as a Guest to the Trainer's Lodge.

Raihan & Duraludon last appeared in the Monthly Poké Fair Scout back in May. As with that appearance, they have not received new fair-exclusive tiles in their sync grid in conjunction with this scout, nor have they received an EX Role.

The first five times players perform a Sync Pair Scout x11 for the Monthly Poké Fair Scout Vol. 15, they will receive a bonus present of 3★ Friend Key x15. These keys allow players to increase the Friendship Level Cap for a single Guest in the Trainer Lodge by 10. This Monthly Poké Fair Scout also includes a daily discount, where players can perform a single scout for x100 paid gems. This daily discount can be used 1 time per day during the entire length of the scout.
