Pokémon Masters EX updates to Version 2.19.0 - Developer update previews new app improvements, sync pairs, and events

A new version of Pokémon Masters EX game, Version 2.19.0, is now available for download. This new version brings with it several new features and quality of life changes, including team voice-overs, improvements to eggs, and UI fixes, amongst other improvements. The producers of Pokémon Masters EX have also revealed details on several new components to the game in their monthly message to players, along with information about upcoming Sync Pairs. The next letter is slated for late April, and will include information about new Sync Pairs coming at the end of that month, as well as details on events that will be running in May.

Update Summary
Team-Voice-Overs
Certain sync pairs will have a unique voice lineup when they are placed together in party, and/or after victory. Players are encouraged to mix and match their sync pairs to see some unique reactions. More lines will add in the near future.

Improvement to Eggs
The hatch gauge will be removed, meaning players will no longer have to battle to hatch eggs. In addition to this, the limit on auto-incubate will be increased from 4 to 8 for players who have purchased both the Eggcelerator and the Egg Box Expansion.

UI Fixes and Other Improvements
A new button will be added in future events to allow players to see any event missions that are available. Players will also be able to see what lucky skills can be learned from Lucky Cookies by tapping the Learnable Lucky Skills Button.

Costume Event: Curious Tea Party
The Curious Tea Party event will start on March 30th. The theme of this event will be solving riddles. You can read more about this event, the 4 special sync pairs that will be appearing in it, and the associated riddle-solving missions, in our separate coverage on the event here.

Paulo Interlude and a new Villain Arc
New content has been added to the Main Story Villain Arc: Paulo Interlude. Part 2 adds the story "Justice without Power", where Paulo rethinks some of this plans after battling with a certain person. In addition to this update to Paulo's story, a new Villan Arc is scheduld for release in mid-May, which will focus on a new region.

Other Updates
A new feature will be implemented for the Champion Stadium in late April, allowing players to see which type of sync pairs they haven't used yet. This will be useful for those aiming to complete Champion Stadium Medals. A button is also planned to be added to the area info for Training Area's Cap-Unlock Area and Cap-Unlock Area 2. This will allow players to check how many items they own for unlocking level caps.

Development of New Major Content
Past messages from the developers have mentioned that new content was under development to give players a chance to interact and connect with Trainers. While this latest update hasn't give any further information about what exactly this new content will entail, the developers have shared a new piece of concept arc to give players a sense of the kind of world-building that is being done for this content. Additional periodic updates have been promised as they continue development of this new content, so be sure to stay tuned for further information.

 

I prefer it if there wouldn't any new voice over lines for characters who are voiced by whoever else has done voices for characters in other adaptations. Summer Gloria is voiced by Stephanie Southerland instead of Dela Seba so why can't they do it to other sync pairs.

What I really hope that DeNA will tease us upcoming events over this month.
