A new version of Pokémon Masters EX game, Version 2.22.0, is now available for download. This new version brings with it minor bug fixes and audio changes. The producers of Pokémon Masters EX have also revealed details on several new components to the game in their monthly message to players, along with information about upcoming Sync Pairs. The next letter is slated for late July and will include information about new Sync Pairs coming at the end of that month, as well as details on events that will be running in August.

Update Summary
New Jukebox Songs
A selection of new songs have been added to the Jukebox. Players can acquire the newly added songs in the Unlock Songs menu of the Jukebox, or via the Exchange Items menu in the shop.

Fixed Auto Data
An audio issue for Zygarde (Complete Forme) has been fixed.

Fixed Sync Grid Issue
5★ Sygna Suit Ethan & Lugia's Aeroblast: Power +1 Sync Grid tile has been changed to Aeroblast: Power +2. The energy requirement for this tile has also been reduced from 10 to 3. All players will be receiving Co-Op Sync Orbs x840 as compensation for this error. This compensation can be collected any time up until July 27th, at 9:59pm (PT).

Summer Story Event - Summer Nights and Wishing Stars
Summer Nights and Wishing Stars will start on June 29th. The theme of this year's Summer Event is "Summer Festival". In conjunction with this event, N and Hilda will appear in a Sync Pair scout in seasonal outfits patterned around traditional Japanese clothing.

N (Summer 2022) & Zoroark

N (Summer 2022) & Zoroark are a Dark-type strike sync pair. Their Vivid Illusion! Move allows them to raise their Sp. Atk by six stat ranks, and their evasiveness by two stat ranks. Their main attack move, Night Daze, also has a 40% chance of lowering the target’s accuracy by one stat rank. In addition, this sync pair have Passive Skills granting them the Supereffective ↑ Next effect when entering battle with full HP, or after using their Sync Move, making them a strong attacker against opponents weak to Dark-type attacks throughout the whole battle.

Hilda (Summer 2022) & Grapploct

Hilda (Summer 2022) & Grapploct are a Fighting-type support sync pair. With their Get Gutsy! move, they can buff buff their allies Defense and Sp. Def by two stat ranks, while also applying a Gradual Healing effect to themselves. Their Passive Skill meanwhile raises the Attack of all allies by one stat rank when they are hit by an opponent’s attack move. This sync pair isn't just a buffer though. Using Topsy-Turvy, they're able to weaken their opponents by converting a target’s stat increases into stat reductions (excluding critical-hit rate). Rounding this out, the pair is also able to use both Brick Break and Protect, giving them plenty of options for dealing with opponents’ attacks.

Other Upcoming Events
A New Seasonal Tier Scout

A new Seasonal Tiered Scout will begin on July 3rd, in conjunction with the return of the Beachside Rivalry Story Event. This Sync Pair Scout will feature four Summer Seasonal Sync Pairs from 2020 and 2021.

A battle event will also run concurrently with this event, with special trials for players to take on, and some special Missions which players will need creative thinking to complete.

Egg Event Raise Tyrogue!

Players will be able to form sync pairs with Tyrogue for each Role during the event.

Update to Sync Pair strengthening

Past updates from the producers have talked about ongoing development on improvements to the usability of the Pokémon Masters EX user interface. An in-development screenshot of an improved Sync Pair strengthening menu has been shared along with this update.

Up until now, the various functions and features for strengthening a Sync Pair, such as the menus to Unlock Level Cap, Level Up, and Theme Skills, have all been on separate screens. The new interface will merge all of these into a single screen, with the various features accessible via a tabbed interface.

While the letter stressed this screenshot is from content still under development, and thus subject to change, the message also notes that they are getting close to releasing these UI improvements, so players should have a chance to make use of the new interface in the near future.
