This is a Pokemon Mafia based on a story I wrote a long time ago. I will explain the characters to get an idea who's mafia and who's townsfolk. The Pokemon have fitting nicknames.
Villagers
Whirlpool (Buizel) - A caring and trustworthy young Pokemon. He is forever loyal to his friends. He is quite self-confident in his ability to fly with his forked tail.
Flame (Charmander) - Whirlpool's best friend and an Egg-moved Charmander who can use Outrage, Crunch, and Fire fang. He can be somewhat of a loner, but holds loyalty to his friends. He vows to never evolve nor swim.
Rai "Thunder" (Jolteon) - By far the most timid and self-conscious of the Villagers, he has a lot of potential, but is too modest to realize it. His shyness can vanish if one of his friends is hurt. He is beneficial for his sharp hearing to eavesdrop the Mafia. He may mishear occasionally, however.
Strike (Blaziken) - Wild, confident, and Rash are the perfect words to describe this Blaziken. He acts without thinking and is driven by his cockiness. He knows he is one of the strongest Pokemon in the Village and often needs to be put down by his rescue team's leader, Scept.
Scept [Sept] (Sceptile) - A cool, calm, and collected Grass type who leads a Rescue team consisted of the Third-stage Hoenn Starters. He, being the leader, is very bold, brave, and sometimes Quirky. He is a strategist and can easily stun enemies with his high speed and agility causing them to be out for the night.
Swamp (Swampert) - He may lag around and look lazy, but he is the one who brought the Hoenn team together. He is extremely strong, can take Scept in one hit, but he isn't much of a thorough thinker, leaving himself in confusion. Very Rarely, he can actually knock Mafia out rendering him useful to the Villagers.
Aas [AHs] (Latias) - A very energetic Latias, she is Hasty, Jolly, and Somewhat of a clown. Aas is madly in love with her Male counterpart, Ace and thinking about him may distract her, making her a target. She is so Naive and gullible, she will tell Mafia information -- on accident of course. However, that leads other Villagers to dislike her.
Ace (Latios) - His name is the belief he has about himself. He may be narcissistic, but knows how to aid the villagers in a way other than fighting -- a solution he despises by Using Flash to bring daytime earlier, but makes the night longer. (By 8-real life hours)

Independents
Platinum (Giratina) - A real loner, but cares for everyone around him, including Mafia. He will do anything to survive but help people at the same time. He was once a Mafia, but realized the harm they did to the Village. He will give information to random members of either alignments because he doesn't who to be loyal to.
Mafia
Darkness (Shadow Lugia) - The leader of the Mafia, but is not necessary for the group to stay united. He is brutal, mysterious, and unpredictable. He cares about his team, so he may potentially reverse actions at night
Phantom (Gengar) - One of Darkness' Gengar henchmen, He may look small compared to his brother, but is smarter. Phantom can stun Villagers by scaring them. Something his brother can't do. He is a quick-thinker and has always hated the Villagers.
Shade (Gengar) - The less serious of the two Gengar. Shade can be useful, in spite of his dim-wittedness. though rarely, He can fight out of his laziness.
Ambush (Zubat) - He may not be able to see, but has good enough hearing to acquire information from the Villagers. He doesn't have much of a personality, so one would describe him as Dull.
Phantom (Gengar) - One of Darkness' Gengar henchmen, He may look small compared to his brother, but is smarter. Phantom can stun Villagers by scaring them. Something his brother can't do. He is a quick-thinker and has always hated the Villagers.

Ambush (Zubat) - He may not be able to see, but has good enough hearing to acquire information from the Villagers. He doesn't have much of a personality, so one would describe him as Dull.
Standing in front of their master's dojo, Several Pokemon are being blocked by yellow caution tape with Pokemon investigators.
"What happened?"
"They won't let us in!"
"Where's Spatial?"
"He'd be here by now..."
"H-his badge?..."
A young Pokemon noticed a badge his teacher always wore.
"Who dares to kill my teacher?!"
"STAND BACK, we must investigate this assassination!"
"What happened?"
"They won't let us in!"
"Where's Spatial?"
"He'd be here by now..."
