Pokemon on Strictly Come Dancing

So last night in the UK, one of the couples on Strictly Come Dancing danced to the original theme song.

And when they actually danced I was cringing so hard that people thought I was having a seizure.

I watch the American version (Dancing With the Stars) which has really started to become a hot mess. This honestly amused me way more than anything I've seen on our version over the past three weeks

The girl looked a bit creepy, and it's weird that they managed to get Calem's jacket but not Ash's OS jacket (overthinking a little, you could say that the clothes are done in house and that when checking for references they stumbled upon Ash's XY jacket).

Anyway, I always love it when Pokémon gets another reference in popular culture.
