Uh, doesn't every new Pokemon game come out in the U.S. anyway? Especially the DS/GBA ones, what is there to worry about?
What about Pokemon TCG: Great Rocket Visits (GB)? It was a shame that one didn't come out here...
Most DS games in general are being released in the west - even games like Electroplankton and Brain Training for Adults.
And supposedly, we're not getting Ganbare Goemon.

From a time forgotten. There hasn't been a Pokemon game since that hasn't been released in the west.

And supposedly, we're not getting Ganbare Goemon.

Well, that's nothing to do with Nintendo. Like Jump Superstars it's up to the developers to decide their audience.

Nintendo at least and a few others like Ubisoft are using the DS to bring out games not traditionally released in the West. And there's certainly no danger of a game guaranteed to sell a million without fail being launched here.

The Rocket TCG game came WAY close to the demise of the GBC, that is not the case with this game.

Jump Superstars isn't coming due to licensing issues. In Japan, all of the game's licenses are owned by a single company; in the States, they're owned by at least 20 different companies. Even if they wanted to take on the mammoth legal issues, it would probably strip a great deal of the profit potential.
