*Looks at Darmanitan and Musharna in Black/White*IMO the Red Gyarados was in GSC to show off the fact that they added shiny Pokemon. So they'd be better off having a similar in game event to the Red Gyarados one, except the Pokemon you catch has a dream world ability instead of a normal one (to show off the new dream world abilities in this Gen).

They already did that.
Why would they need to promote a feature that was introduced in a previous game, which was already promoted in said previous game? Using that logic, we could easily have another shiny like the Red Gyarados. They did, but since we are talking about RSE remakes I thought using a Hoenn Pokemon for that would be good.
Yeah, because one more shiny is totally going to ruin their specialness.
there have been rumers going around my school that pokemon BW were the last of the pokemon games if there are going to be remakes of hoenn it will only be after the third game of unova is released (its probobly the game going to be released this spring) if there will be a remake i can only hope it will be better than the originals.
Do not believe rumors being told around school. That is what made me believe the Mew in the Truck thing when I was little.there have been rumers going around my school that pokemon BW were the last of the pokemon games if there are going to be remakes of hoenn it will only be after the third game of unova is released (its probobly the game going to be released this spring) if there will be a remake i can only hope it will be better than the originals.
One more shiny in the, most likely, millions of copies of the game in the world.
There have been rumors like that every generation. But as has been said, it's too popular to just stop.there have been rumers going around my school that pokemon BW were the last of the pokemon games.
It does for some people. Shinies are meant to be something special, either earned from hard work (SRing, Masuda breeding, PokeRadar) or encountered at random when you're lucky. The fact that Gyarados could be encountered Shiny was to show off Shiny Pokemon. That is not necessary anymore, most Pokemon players will know what a Shiny is, whether they have one or not. I've seen Shiny Gyarados so much that I get surprised when I see a blue one. I don't want that to happen to another Pokemon.Doesn't matter how many copies, because that still only brings us to 2 shiny encounters out of 649. Really doesn't ruin it.
