((Let's breathe some life back into this and the others.))

The next day, Calvin was taking the kids to the park. Mikuma had talked the other girls into a girl's day, but Camille was still sleeping after her near-death experience, and Victoria had asked Brianne to stay with her. So it was just Mikuma, Kalie, Maya and Mina going out. Victoria was going to take them in her new minivan. Calvin was finishing up roll call, and gave the kids a chance to see goodbye to whomever.

Maya was checking on the kids before she left. Annie, who had been antsy since Camille's accident, was stuck to her like glue.

"Mama, is she gonna be wake up soon?" Sophie asked. Since the incident, she'd been extremely depressed, and hadn't left Camille's side, even to eat. It was a touching display, but at the same time, it was saddening because everyone could feel her depression.

"Now, Wendy, be good, and I'll bring you something special from our trip." Mikuma told her daughter, giving her a motherly hug. The two had been growing quite close, and one might say that Mikuma was starting to spoil Wendy.

Kalie was trying to find Kevin so she could say goodbye to him. Of course, when he didn't want to be found, no one find find the little bugger.

Terry was giving Fiyero the typical goodbyes. He had stepped into the role thrust before him rather impressively, and it made one wonder if this was the same Terry from just months ago.

Kalie started to get worried because she still couldn't find Kevin, and rang a tiny bell that Kevin had been conditioned to respond to because whenever he heard the bell, the person ringing it would have his favorite candy waiting for him.

Sophie stayed put with Camille, ever vigilant over her.

After more of a fatherly talk and a high five, Terry sent Fiyero to the rest of the flock, then went about his business.

Mikuma deposited Wendy with the rest of the flock, and went to join Victoria.

((Have you ever heard of conditioned response, an experiment by Ivan Pavlov? If not, look it up. That's what I'm doing with Kalie and Kevin.
