Pokemon saying their names

What if, for the gen 10 games, all the Pokémon said their names or some variation of it? Like how in the anime, Pikachu says Pika, Pika. What would be the reaction of the fanbase?

I suppose there could be an option to swap which cries the Pokémon uses.

I, for one, wouldn't mind, but I can envision the public outcry over this change lol. Besides, in-game Pokémon cries are pretty cute; I don't see why they would want to remove them.

I prefer the crying sounds, but I think that having Dedenne say “Nenene” would be very funny.

I know this is an old thread, but I also say the cries, even if you make them a bit more natural sounding like in stadium, it just makes them sound like actual living creatures. Plus the repeating of their name would get annoying way faster than you'd think

I prefer how the games sometimes have makeshift words for some Pokemon cries, it makes them have more "character". Like "la lionaa" for Solgaleo, "mahina pea" for Lunala or "paluuu" for the Lighthouse Ampharos, some are really memorable.

Like how they kept the optional set battle mode, turning off the battle animations, turning off the exp share and so on?
