Pokémon Sleep previews features and fixes currently in development - Free gift of Biscuits, Handy Candy, and Incense to all early users

In an update posted earlier today, the developers of Pokémon Sleep have given players a list of features and issues that are currently receiving development attention, acknowledging several new bugs and issues that they hope to resolve in a coming update. The developers are also giving a free gift bundle of handy in-game items to early adopters.

According to the updates posted in-game and on the official Pokémon Sleep account on X (formerly Twitter), the following features and adjustments are currently being worked on:

Points currently under development

• Adding new Pokémon
• Adding more alarm sounds and Relaxing Sounds
• Implementing night mode for the loading screen
• Responding to an issue that makes it difficult to meet one's bedtime
• Responding to an issue that makes it difficult to collect Berries among other things located near the edge of the screen
• Putting on the Good Sleep Day event, starting Wednesday, August 30

Known issues slated for improvement in the future

• Pokémon recovering Energy while inside the Pokémon Box
• An issue that causes the app to run slowly or freeze on some devices
• Further optimization of battery usage during sleep tracking

On top of this update, and as a thanks to game's early adopters, the developers have also announced a free gift will be distributed to all players who registered before September 2nd, at 4:00am (UTC). Each eligible player will receive the following items:

• Poké Biscuit x10
• Handy Candy S x30
• Growth Incense x1
• Focus Incense x1

These gifts can be claimed in game by selecting the gift box icon that can be found in the upper right of the in-app main menu. Players will need to have sufficient room in their Bag to receive these gifts.

As we've noted with previous updates from this development team, this level of openness and transparency about the app's development pipeline is very much appreciated. In particular, we commend the developers for their effort to clearly communicate their progress on resolving the problems players have been experiencing.
