Pokémon Sleep to receive maintenance on March 21st ahead of Version 1.4.0 update, with some minor QoL changes ahead of the Raikou Research event

Pokémon Sleep will enter a maintenance period this week on Thursday March 21st, ahead of a planned update of the software to Version 1.4.0. This maintenance period is expected to last for roughly 4 and a half hours, from 1:00am until 5:30am (UTC). This update is primarily intended to prepare the game for the Raikou Research event starting on March 25th, but also makes a small number of quality of life changes for the game.

According to the patch notes, the following changes and bug fixes will be made in Version 1.4.0:

Game Contents​

• Changing the max number of Berries and ingredients that any helper Pokémon can hold at one time to 999

Other​

• Making it impossible to discard Master Biscuits
• Adjustments to show Pokémon sleep styles in order of rarity on the sleep research results screen after snack time

The Raikou Research Bundles for that event were made available from the in-game store at the end of last week. Each of these Bundles contains Raikou Mane samples, which will form an important part of the upcoming event.

Each player may only purchase a limited quantity of each of the available bundles.

Up to 3 Raikou Research Bundle Vol. 1 S can be purchased by each player, for 250 diamonds each. Each bundle will contain:

• Poké Biscuit ×4
• Friend Incense ×1
• Raikou Mane ×25

Each player may only purchase a single Raikou Research Bundle Vol. 1 M, at a cost of 1,200 diamonds. These bundles will include:

• Great Biscuit ×6
• Good Camp Ticket ×1
• Raikou Candy ×30
• Raikou Mane ×100

Players may also only purchase a single Raikou Research Bundle Vol. 1 L, at a cost of 3,000 diamonds. These bundles will include:

• Great Biscuit ×15
• Friend Incense ×4
• Dream Cluster M ×3
• Raikou Candy ×60
• Raikou Mane ×200

An additional two Raikou Last Chance Bundles will be made available from the in-game store for the second week of the event, starting from Monday April 1st at 4:00am (UTC).

Each player may only purchase a single Raikou Last Chance Bundle Vol. 1 S, at a cost of 600 diamonds. These bundles will include:

• Poké Biscuit ×15
• Raikou Mane ×70

Each player may only purchase a single Raikou Last Chance Bundle Vol. 1 M, at a cost of 1,500 diamonds. These bundles will include:

• Great Biscuit ×12
• Raikou Mane ×140

Both the Raikou Research Bundles and Raikou Last Chance Bundles will remain available until one day after the end of the two-week event, on Tuesday April 9th at 3:59am (UTC).
