Hello Bulbagrden! It is I, Anon! Rejoice, for I have returned!

That’s right; I have returned from hospital. I don’t really wanna worry you with the details, but being so close to death has ignited the creative flame deep within me. With permission from my friend “The Black Glove” from Serebii, here is a recreation of his RP..

Pokemon: Soul Seekers

The Pokemon world today is quite an amazing place. People and Pokemon live as equals, side by side. When a fight breaks out, it is not truly violent with blood and wounds, but a fun competition in which the attacks used are never powerful enough to kill, even at full strength. Technology and Medical conditions are better than ever before, healing six Pokemon in a matter of seconds. Even evil seems to have died down, leaving the world a much more peaceful place.

But it wasn't always like that.

Let's go back to about the year 500, approximately 1,500 years before Red of Pallet Town set off on his journey. Pokeballs hadn't been invented back then. Medical abilities were less, reduced to herbs and a lucky few whom had the power. A certain Magic was still in tact, allowing humans abilities they had never dreamed of, before it would be lost many years later. And battles were deadly. In the late 500s, a group of strange hooded figures appeared before Queen Scarlett, The Kingdom of Kanto's leader at the time. They said not a word, but placed a bejewelled scroll in the queen's hands. By the time she looked up from the odd object, they had vanished into thin air. Checking the scroll, she found the instructions on how to create a way to fight using Pokemon. In those days, Pokemon were merely wild animals to the people, considered dangerous, although unintelligent. As a matter of fact, they had been warring with a group of Pokemon from the west, and the war had raged on for almost half a century. With this scroll, the queen realized she would finally have a way to make peace. Bearing the scroll with her, Scarlett travelled to the battlefield, calling for a peaceful meeting with the Pokemon's leader, a great Gardevoir. Thankfully, her psychic powers made communication possible.

In this meeting, Scarlett proposed an eternal truce between the Pokemon and the Humans. Showing Gardevoir the scroll as her proof, a long discussion soon made both sides agree that it was better to fight together "as one". To seal the deal, they shook hands. As they did so, a bright light filled the room, forcing the guards on both sides to cover their eyes. When it cleared, Scarlett held a long green and white sceptre topped with a red triangle. Oddly enough, Gardevoir had become this object, but could still speak clearly, something she did quickly to keep her guards from attacking. A Rhydon, assuming it was a human trick, rushed forwards to attack the Queen. Alone, she or Gardevior would likely have been impaled on the end of a Horn Drill, but together, they stopped the armoured Pokemon by lifting it into the air. All were stunned, especially the two performing the feat. Neither had ever felt such power in their lives.

When it was revealed that both Queens were fine (and Gardervoir capable of changing back and forth from weapon to Pokemon), the humans and Pokemon threw down their weapons and rejoiced. Alone, they were weak, but together, Humans and Pokemon could be stronger! All across Kanto, humans and Pokemon finally began to bond, and to see each other as equals. Humans discovered that Pokemon abilities could be useful in everyday life. Ponyta, for example, pulled carts and wagons in exchange for a place to stay. Miltank finally had something to do with the milk they constantly produced. With the muscle of fighting and rock Pokemon, cities could be built much higher and stronger.

As thirty years more passed in a flash, the queen and the psychic Pokemon who had made the pact aged and died. As they did so, with their final breaths, they gave a prediction in one last Future Sight. There would be a break that could drive man and Pokemon apart forever, and it would be up to the world to prevent it. Mentioning nothing more, they finally took to eternal sleep. Humans and Pokemon alike mourned the death of their queens.

Since then for five more years, the world has seen a steady growth, as her final words frightened the people. What if the prediction was true? After enjoying such happy times, would they really be reduced to fighting one another again?

*********

Who are you? Who knows? Perhaps you are a farmer, tending your fields. Maybe you joined the ranks of the Kanto Knights. Perhaps, even, you are just a simple man in a peaceful world. For one reason or another, you are among the lucky few who recently found you are able to wield a Pokemon as a weapon.

--INFORMATION--

Soul Weapons

A Soul Weapon is the result of the pact made by the queens 35 years ago. A holy power emitted from them, allowing the two races to combine their souls. The human acts as a catalyst for the Pokemon, and the Pokemon is formed into a weapon, boosting it's power greatly, even unlocking abilities they didn't know they had. Depending on the Pokemon species and the human who makes the pact, the weapon can be anything; Broadswords, Bows, Staffs; any outcome is possible. However, the one thing they have in common is that they all appear similar to the Pokemon they transformed from.

Pacts

It doesn't happen by choice. When a human and a Pokemon are compatible, and they have a strong bond with each other, a bright light flashes, revealing the Pokemon's weapon form. In order for this to take place, however, both sides must agree to the pact, and share a strong bond.

Soul Forms

A completed and true version of the Soul Weapon. The human takes on a new appearance, representing the Pokemon with whom they have merged. Reaching this level takes incredible skill, and as of currently, only the Knights of Kanto are capable of performing this feat. Until you have achieved sufficient mastery, this form will consume a large amount of stamina to reach and maintain.

The Knights of Kanto

Also known as The Kanto Knights, they are the protectors of Kanto, as well as the most powerful fighters in all the land. Each has a castle in one of 8 locations (the future sites of the 8 Pokemon Gyms) where they train and watch over the nearby citizens. In order to become a Knight, you must enter into the intense training of the knights, and reach a certain level of power. All Knights are extremely strong, and can activate their Soul Forms with little difficulty. However, you may not play as one of them. You may, however, be in training under one of them as a low-ranked soldier.

QUESTIONS

Does my Partner have to be a Kanto Pokemon?

No. Your partner can be from any region at all, and even fossil Pokemon have yet to go extinct. Just treat them like you would any other Pokemon. Just no Legendaries. As a note, Mewtwo will not be created for another several hundred years, so he will not be appearing in this RP. Or will he?

Can my Pokemon evolve?

Yes, your Pokemon can evolve. However, if you plan to evolve it during the RP, then you need to PM me when you plan to do so with whatever changes occur to your Pokemon, and, by extension, your Soul Weapon and Form.

Hey, you mentioned Magic! Where are the spells?!

The ancient magic referred to above is the pacts. However, you can create a mage-like character if it fits the Pokemon you use. Just remember that the 'spells' need to be Pokemon Abilities.

There's an attack I think fits, but my Pokemon cannot learn it. Can I-?

Say no more. You may use any attack AS LONG AS IT MAKES SENSE. For example, Seviper with Hyper Fang is fine, but you can't have a Combusken with Vine Whip.

I want to have more than 4 attacks. Is that okay?

No. You start with a maximum of 4. I assure you that you will learn more during the course of the RP, but since you are new to your Soul Weapon and Pokemon Partner, you will not have a large number of attacks.

The Kingdom of Kanto's Locations

-Celadon Castle Town-
Home to the King and his Castle, Celadon is the capital of the Kingdom. Ruled over by Queen Carmen and Queen Raichu, Celadon is a very peaceful place, named after the serene beauty of the plants that grow outside the town's great walls. The entire city is kept inside a massive stone wall, surrounded by a moat to prevent a siege. Celadon Castle Town is always bustling with activity, including the new Game Corner. Taverns and Inns are abundant to handle the large amount of people who travel through.

Notable Locations:
Castle Kanto- Home to the Queens. A very regal place located in the centre of town. It is the most massive structure in Kanto, made to defend the ruler at all costs.
Celadon Castle- A smaller, but equally important castle on the south-western side of town. It is the home of Lady Fern of the Kanto Knights, a specialist in plants and herbs. She runs a small infirmary nearby.
Game Corner- A gambling house for drunkards. Fortunes are made and lost here.
Celadon Market- The largest market in Kanto. Merchants from all over gather to sell their goods, each trying to outdo the others. It is rumoured that you can find just about anything here.

-Saffron Junction-
Located directly in the centre of 3 major cities (and the swamp), Saffron Junction is the perfect place to spread ideas and technology, second only to Celadon economically. Lady Mana watches over the city with a clairvoyant mind, protecting the citizens from any who would cause harm, resulting in a surprisingly safe city. This is the best place for scholars, who usually work at the local scriptorium.

Notable Locations:
Saffron Castle- Home to Lady Mana of the Knights. The castle is the largest building in town, whose centre tower is incredibly high. It is in this tower that Lady Mana herself sleeps.
Saffron Dojo- A local fighting Dojo run by Chan Lee. It is rumoured he was to become a Knight of Kanto, but for some reason, he was rejected and Lady Mana was chosen instead. This still ticks him off, but he runs a dojo here, hoping one of his students will become a Knight.
Scriptorium- Home to the scholars of Kanto. All of the kingdom's records are kept here, and it is rumoured that the magical scroll that started the fusion ability is kept here as well.

-Fushia Village-
South of Celadon and Southwest of Vermillion sits a small but growing village. The town is supposedly founded by a ninja clan, a rumour the town's leader, Sir Attor, denies vehemently. However, the town has taken on that vibe, blending eastern styles into the culture of Kanto.

Notable Locations:
Fushia Castle- Down near the sea, built into the firm bedrock is Fushia Castle, home of Sir Attor of the Knights of Kanto. Many people are not pleased by its presence, which contradicts with the surrounding areas. Sir Attor specializes in alchemy.
Fushia Shrines- Devoted to the departed, Fushia honours their dead with a shrine. People also burn incense here to try and appeal to the God Pokemon, Arceus, as well as other legendaries.

-Port Vermillion-
Located on the Sea, Port Vermillion Hosts a wide number of docks and ships fully fit to set sail. Fishermen, as well as sailors and explorers frequent this area, sailing boats all across the known world. The townspeople are very loyal and affectionate to their ruler, Admiral Tyrell of the Knights of Kanto. This town also conducts almost as many rumours as the Castle Town.

Notable Locations:
Vermillion Castle- Home to Admiral Tyrell, on the western peninsula of the area. It overlooks the sea, and has a lightning rod on top, drawing the strikes to it. Admiral Tyrell often allows inventors from all over to use this electricity to power inventions, especially if they would help his village.
Vermillion Docks- Hundreds of ships, large and small, anchor here. If you need a ride across the water, you'll find it here.
The Great Tunnel- Dug by Diglett and Dugtrio under orders from the last queen, the Great Tunnel is a project that is attempting to create a link between Vermillion and Pewter via an underground tunnel. Although it is incomplete, it could serve as a passageway or an escape route one day.

-Lavender Swamps-
Few have entered. None have returned.

-Pewter Valley-
Located between 2 great mountain regions, Pewter Valley is a great centre of mining and timber. Lead by Sir Slate of the Knights of Kanto, its villagers have the reputation of rough-and-tumble wild men. It is a fairly new region, but it sees growth and new sights with each passing day.

Notable Locations:
Pewter Castle- Although still under construction, Pewter Castle is made from solid stones, placed high upon a mountain's peak to make raids difficult. Of course, it also makes going to and from Sir Slate's home a massive pain in the legs. However, the lumbermen, who do it everyday, have little problem in climbing it. This makes escaping a raid easier for them, and harrowing for their enemies.
Lumber Camp- Home of the Lumbermen, unless in times of raid. When they aren't cutting down trees for timber, they can be heard singing with surprising harmony.
Builder's Camp- The builder's home, unless in times of raid. The builders are a surly lot, but they appreciate the few women who enter the camp (and they show it very vocally).

-Cerulean Coast-
Next to Vermillion, the second aquatic powerhouse in Kanto. The Cerulean Coast is a smaller village, but with more emphasis on fishing than exploring and naval warfare. The city is considered to be the perfect place for lovers, and is a very romantic village, but the tall cliff nearby has sharp, pointy rocks that ships can crash into in the fog. The resident Knight, Lady Nautia, is working on a plan to solve that problem.

Notable Locations:
Cerulean Castle- Home to Nautia, the Town's Kanto Knight. The Castle is quite beautiful, reflecting the romantic appearance of the area. Ironically enough, Lady Nautia is single.
Cerulean Cove- Lots of little fishing vessels come here specifically to find the freshest and widest variety of fish in all of Kanto. Rather than a dock, boats are beached on the sand, as there are few storms and no larger boats.
Cerulean Cliff- A tall cliff with a jagged edge on the seaside. It's very dangerous on a foggy cerulean night, where a boat can crash into it.

-Cinnibar Island-Although not currently a part of the Kanto Kingdom, Sir Hakan of the Knights is attempting to set up negotiations with the local tribe. They are currently resistant, but the Knight and the local Shaman, Jeohash, have managed to keep a fight from breaking out. It is a beautiful island, tropical and bright, but the people are very uncivilized, living in mud huts in small villages.

Notable Locations:
Kanto Camp- Since they have yet to agree to becoming allies, a Castle has not been built. Therefore, a small camp is located near the northern shore, where Sir Hakan and his fellow diplomats are staying.
Cinnibar Tribe- A Tribe of people who are far behind in terms of technology (even compared to the feudal Kanto), but are very in tune with the wild life, and even the earth itself. They don't like outsiders, but they are open to reason, thanks to their leader, the Shaman Jeohash.
Cinnibar Volcano- A massive volcano in the middle of the island. It has incredible destructive power, but is, for the most part, inactive. The warm temperatures and remaining lava do tend to attract certain fire types though.
Seafoam Islands- A mysterious and uninhabited island. Nobody lives there, but the few who have visited have felt a strange presence...

-Viridian Forest-A vast forest to the south of Pewter. Lots of bug and grass Pokemon live here in harmony. The people here seem to have adapted to that, building houses only in spaces between the trees, rather than ripping trees out. Their leader, Sir Terrance, makes sure everyone follows those rules.

Notable Locations:
Viridian Castle- Not exactly the grandest of castles, but Sir Terrance's dirt-built Viridian Castle works with the very earth around it, and is propped up by the plants that have grown on it. Many wild Pokemon have made a home here.
The Forest- It's easy to get lost in Viridian Forest if you aren't a resident. Bring one with you every time you go- unless you want to lose yourself forever...

-Pallet Fields-
The only Pokemon-Only settlement left, the Pallet Fields are the Pokemon's capital, filled with fresh air and flowers. The only human here is Bonsai, a sage who lives with his Torterra Partner.

Notable Locations:
Bonsai's Hut- Home of Bonsai. Be warned if you plan to fight him, for it is rumoured that even the Kanto Knights cannot beat him...

-To the West...-Who knows? Some people believe it is an entirely new world out there...

This looks like it'll turn out awesome, but I wish we didn't need so many forms to fill out. Anyways, I'm glad you're back and here's my sign up!

Human

Name: Cole. Has no idea of his last name.
Age: 17
Gender: Male
Sexuality: Straight
Hometown: Cole has no idea where he was born in, but was raised in Pewter Valley.
Description: Cole is tall and fair-skinned. He is somewhat muscular due to years and years of mining, but not as much as you might think. He normally wears no shoes, instead going out in his bare feet. Cole wears a thin tattered grey shirt burned in many areas, along with a thin black cloth around his forehead, covering up a large scar obtained while mining. He has loose jean-like pants that are ripped in several areas. He has dark brown hair that many see as black, and eyes that are a lighter shade of brown. He wears an iron breastplate over his shirt and also wears an iron helmet.
Personality: Cole is friendly most of the time, but years of working with tough, wild men has made him less friendly than in the past. He gets easily angered and sometimes becomes a bit overemotional. He tends to resort to sarcasm when angry, sometimes yelling or getting angry at people for no reason. Cole is very loyal to his friends, but also shy towards anyone he doesn't know. He is very intelligent. Cole is strategic, but also probably the most stubborn person in the world, so he will never give up on an idea of his. He has a fear of heights, unlike most people he knows, and tends not to tell anyone about it because he believes it's embarrasing.
History: Cole has no idea about his birth and has no memories of his life before age five. All that he remembers is growing up in Pewter Valley, and always feeling out of place with the people around him. He was named for the thing many people in the Pewter mined, but preffered to spell it differently. Cole grew up with a man he never called his father becuase of their difference. Cole's father was cruel and just as stubborn as Cole, maybe even more than Cole. He was always pushing Cole to work harder and do more, which was very aggravating to him. Cole was ridiculed a lot into his teens because of not hitting a growth spurt of any sort yet, and so Cole set out to find some way to take out his anger with them. Eventually, at age sixteen, Cole left Pewter for Viridian Castle, and tried ot become a Knight. He was turned away, however, because he didn't have a Pokemon Partner of any sort. Cole built himself a house in Viridian, and lived there for another year. However, one day, Cole found a flock of rogue Pidgey attacking a small Charmander, and fought away the other Pokemon. He felt a strong bond with the Charmander, and brought it to his house. There Cole fed and healed the Charmander, and it developed an attachment to him. Cole begin to wonder if it was fate that had brought them together, and began training his Pokemon in battling. It was soon clear that the two had a strong bond, and that the Charmander was able to change into a Soul Weapon at will.
Fighting Style: When in a fight, Cole doesn't go out and attack right away, because that would give away his weaknesses and most likeley prove to be a fatal mistake. Instead, Cole waits for the enemy to approach, then goes on the defensive to learn his enemy's fighting style. Once the enemy makes a single mistake, Cole heads in, bearing odwn attack after attack and overwhelming the enemy until they have no choice but to run or be defeated.
Weapon of Choice: A long, sharp spear.
Other: Anon, you are one smexy human being.

Pokemon

Species: Charmander
Name: Charr
Gender: Male
Description: No different than a regular one.
Personality: Charr is calm mainly, but very violent when threatened. He is very intelligent for a Charmander, and often points out the obvious to Cole. Charr is friendly to those Pokemon and Humans who he has known for a long time, but very violent and dangerous to those he doesn't know, especially when they approach him. Charr knows his limits and will not challenge anyone he obviously cannot defeat.
Other: Anon, you are one smexy human being.

Soul Weapon

Type: Staff
Description: Five feet long and made of red-orange iron, just like the main coloring of Charr's body. Its core is made of stiff wood. The end of the staff is sharp like a spear and can be used for stabbing, and is always ablaze with ominious fire, even when in the rain or even underwater. The fire can only be put out with a combination of super'strong winds and gallons and gallons of water.
Attacks:

Flamethrower

A large flame is launched from the end of the staff, incinerating most things on contact. It can leave a massive burn, and can also be used for burning down foliage that gets in the way.

Slash

A quick, powerful slash from the sharpened tip of the staff. This attack is mainly used for exposing an enemy's weaknesses and for stabbing at chinks in another's armor.

Will-o-Wisp

A launch of magical fire from the flame on the staff that does not cause instant pain but instead a burn that worsens with time.

Flare Blitz

A reckless tackle in which the entire staff becomes ablaze with blue fire. Cole rarely uses this, because he feels it exposes too many weaknesses.

Soul Form

Description: In Soul Form, Cole's skin turns red-orange and his helmet catches on fire. His armor melts into his skin, providing even more defense. Cole's eyes change to the color of his Charmander's, and he grows claws, making him look much like a large Charmander. Cole's hair turns red too, though you can't really notice this feature because of his helmet. His breastplate turns a golden color, the exact same as Charr's stomach.
Attacks:

Fire Blast

A super powerful blast of star-shaped fire is blasted from Cole's staff, incinetating nearly everything it comes into contact with.

Dragon Claw

Cole's staff tip glows purple and a slashing movement is made. This is an attack that will nearly always cut through and enemy's armor like a knife through butter.
----------------------

Man, that was a lot to fill out.

Also, just out of curiosity, would an assault rifle-ish Seedot be okay(bullet seed)?

I think I can answer that queistion, but I'm not too sure:

Assault rifle Bulbasaur? No.
And since Bulbasaur can learn Bullet Seed, too... Maybe the Seedot could be like a crossbow or something that would fire the Bullet Seeds.

Also, am I accepted?

TheVeteranarian, while it was not his place to say so, Bidoof is correct.

Bidoof, Pending. For one, once the pact is made, the Pokemon can change instantly to its weapon form and back. For another, the Charmander may only be shiny coloured, not custom coloured. Also, it may now know Dragon Pulse; it's a bit farfetch'd (lol), considering it's a baby lizard (and your regular weapon and soul weapon must be similar)

Accepted.

I have a couple of questions concerning your Soul Seeker RPG.

Is it possible to have two pokemon bonds?

Cause i have an idea for a character whose soul weapons are a pair of fans and i think it would be a cool idea of each fan was a different pokemon.

If this is not possible then can a pokemon's soul weapon form be two seperate weapon like the above mentioned fans?

Thanks for taking the time to consider these questions

This was sent to me via PM, but I feel it was important to answer in a way visible to everyone.

Anyways, having two soul weapons that work together are fine, but only within reason. First of all, the two Pokemon must have a connection of some sort, or make sense together, like Plusle and Minun. Next, you would have to understand that you'd need to meet the four attack limit, even with both Pokemon.

A single Pokemon could indeed form two separate soul weapons, but each weapon would be reduced in ability by half when both halves are not used, leaving you at a disadvantage if one is removed. However, you could use four attacks from just one Pokemon.

Please reserve me a spot while I type my info up.

Sorry, it's just a lot of these posts have been deleted (or they're just mysteriously missing) on this thread, so I didn't see you say that you don't reserve.

Name: Eliot Nadel

Age: 16

Gender: Male

Sexuality: Straight

Hometown: Viridian Forest

Appearance: Due to growing up mostly outside, he has fairly tan skin. His hair is black, and it's fairly long, as he hates getting it cut. He typically wears a blue jacket, a shirt, brown shorts, and boots. When he feels like being dramatic, he puts on a headband for just such an occasion. As for physical dimensiona, he stands at about 5'11 and weighs 135 pounds.

Personality: Eliot tends to be very optimistic, always trying to see the light at the end of the tunnel. This occasionally annoys people, and he thus didn't have as many friends growing up as most kids. He also loves to help people, and will never, ever do anything he thinks to be wrong. On the flip side, he tends to be fairly fearful, and dislikes fighting, only doing so if there's no other option.

History: Eliot had a fairly nice life in the forest. He didn't have quite as many friends as most, but the ones he did were fairly loyal due to him being willing to help them with any problem. In his teenage years, he took an interest in his home forest's geography and native folra and fauna, which led him to explore the woods nearly every day. At age 15, while on one of these journeys, he found a cave.
He decided to explore it, and found that it lead deep underground. There, far below the earth's surface, he met an Onix. At first, he was afraid, but the found that they had the same goal: They like to help people. They quickly became friends, and he visited it every day. Thus, he managed to form a pact with it, manifesting it as a pair of daggers attached to gloves with chains attached to the weapons. He then decided to leave on a journey, to hone his abilities and help as many people as possible.

Figthing Style: Eliot likes to stay far away from his opponents, only entering melee if they're disabled. He usually entangles them with his chains, and then drags them to place to be imprisoned, as he hates killing things.

Weapon: He has a knife, but while it can cause some damge, it's meant to be more of a tool than anything else.

Other: Anon is sexy.

Pokemon: Onix
Name: Hass the Rock
Gender: Male
Description: It looks like a normal Onix, except made of crystal.\.
Personality: Fairly similar to Eliot, except brqaver, but very stubborn.

Weapon
Type: Gauntlets
Description: A pair of stone colored gauntlets with barbed, 8-inch long iron knives jutting out from just above the middle finger. These knives are attached by a chain, which allows him to stab things and then pull them towards him, swing them around, etc.

Attacks:
Iron Tail (Kinda): Eliot slashes at his opponent with his knives, either by using his gauntlets or swinging them from his chains.
Constrict: Eliot wraps his chains around his foe, which lets him pull them closer to him.
Horn Drill: Eliot shoots the knives out, embedding them in his foe. He can then swing them around, and can also use this ability to swing objects at his opponent.
Dig: The knive turn into large drills, which he can use to attack his foes (They're longer than his s at about two feeet long, and broader, which makes it easier to block, making them better suited for melee) or dig into the ground.

Soul Form: Eyes turn from their normal dark green shade to grey, and his normally blue jacket turns dark gray, and extends in length to his knees. His skin, though at first glance appears normal, upon close inspection actually becomes flesh colored stone.

Thank goodness your okay. You're one of the few people online I'd cry over if I learned you'd died. Don't get too full of yourself, though. It's only 'cause I wouldn't get to pla any more of your RPs XD

I'm gonan stop you right there. You may not be a memebr of the Cinabar Tride.

Name: Zaar
Age: 29
Gender: Male
Sexuality: "Love is for fools."
Hometown: Fuchsia Village

Description: Is as more skinny than a twig on a dead tree, and more pale than a ghost. Has blood-red eyes, normally filled with twisted and sadistic glee, the left of which having a gruesome scar that is covered by his unkempt raven-dark hair. Wears a pitch-black robe with a matching hood.

Personality: Zaar's personality is twofold. Nomrally, he's cold, remorseless, and thinks that everyone, with no exceptions, is inherently underneath him, and treats them as such. His favorite past-time is causing pain, whether physical or emotional, to others. However, either in the heat of battle or when his temper is flared, Zaar grows psychotic, going on a psychopathic, mass-murdering rampage, howling with laughter as the blood of his foes flow around him.

History: Zaar was born in the Fuchsia Village, and was strangely obsessed with all things dark and sinister. Once he reached the appropriate age, he was tutored in the ways of a ninja, although the grandmasters always scolded his use of dirty tactics. They eventually expelled him when he ended up killing one of his battle partners.

He then, at the age of 17, decided to leave the hell that was his childhood, and meandered the Kanto region, trying to satiate his immense bloodlust. He then found a Spiritomb fighting against an immense Nidoking. Feeling that he may have found a partner at long last, he assisted the creature in taking down the behemoth. The friendship between the two then began to form, and the Spiritomb, which Zaar named Raaz due to its similarities with him, decided to tag along with Zaar in his ventures.

Then, one day, after felling a particularly powerful beast, Raaz then started glowing with a harsh light. Once the illumination settled, he found his companion had infused itself with his weapon. One of the eyes adorning the weapon winked at him, and a grin quickly settled on his face.

Wanting to have an excuse to kill more creatures, but not wanting to send himself into Death's arms by pitting himself against the Kanto Knights, he decided to sign up as an assassin for said organization.

Fighting Style: In small, normally one-on-one battles, he likes to aim for weak spots, such as attempting to behead the opponent, or stab them through the heart, to end the battle quickly. He also likes to cause as much suffering to his opponent as he possibly can, which normally involves him driving his weapon through their flesh at agonizingly slow speeds. He's not honorable in the slightest, using tactics such as kicking, elbowing, or anything that he has to do in order to emerge victorious.

However, in big battles, Zaar's battle style gets a lot more chaotic. He runs around in a frenzy, slicing his swords in any direction he sees movement, quickly aiming from one target to the next, and generally trying to shed as much blood as physically possible.

Weapon of Choice: Sanguezanna, his scythe.

Other: Anon iz schmeckseh.

Pokemon

Species: Spiritomb
Name: Raaz (pronounced rahz, not razz)
Gender: Male
Description: Shiny Coloration.

Personality: Generally acts the same as Zaar. Cold, merciless, and oftentimes downright psychotic. The two work together perfectly, although Raaz tends to be a bit more on the insane side than Zaar.

Soul Weapon

Type: Scythe

Description:
A scythe with a light blue hilt and a light purple metal. Has Spiritomb eyes all over the metal. It also glows with a red aura, and has the spirits that reside inside of Spiritomb floating around it.

Attacks: Dark Pulse: Charges some of the spirits floating about the weapon with the aura surrounding it, and launches them at the opponent.

Ominous Wind: Slashes the air in front of him, sending out a wind filled with malevolent energy.

Shock Wave: Raises the weapon into the air, and some of the aura surrounding the weapon turns into electricity, which spreads in a dome-like shape about ten feet around him.

Soul Form WARNING: MAY BECOME A SOURCE OF NIGHTMARE FUEL.

Description: His skin turns into a black color, and he also gains Raaz's eyes and mouth, albeit with a blood-red hue. But that isn't the worst part. Zaar's outfit remains relatively the same, but he ends up tearing holes in his robes. The skin begins to bubble, and human eyes start sprouting from the robes. Once he releases the Soul Form, the eyes end up morphing back into the patches that were torn off previously.

Attacks: Hyper Beam: Twirls his scythe around for a bit, and tosses it into the air. The eyes on his outift, which are actually Raaz's 108 spirits, detach themselves from Zaar, not to mention leaving empty eye sockets where they were, and charge the scythe with their energy. The weapon then falls back down, which Zaar then catches, and slashes in a vertically in front of him, expanding into a Hyper Beam. The attack leaves him motionless for a fair amount of time.

Yes, I know that from what I described, the attack sounds overpowered. But most of it's just flair. That, and further contributing to the Nightmare Fuel factor.

Oh, and thanks to Sunglasses for helping me out with a bit of the horror bits.

Human
Name: Abraham "Zritz" Mendolus
Age: 23
Gender: Male
Sexuality: Pansexual
Hometown: Port Vermillion
Description: Zritz has a natural built figure, meaning he's not the thinnest- but he is plenty strong. Tan skin, hair dyed ocean blue, and sea green eyes make up for the most definitely non-supermodel body. He wears large gloves to handle the ropes of his family's ship, and form-fitting clothes that usually sport many holes and stains. The only shoes he seems to own are brown worn boots, and he keeps his sword belt on him at all times. He also wears a metal mesh under his shirt to help protect from punches; although it certainly wouldn't help with swords or other weapons.
Personality: Zritz is generally quiet, preferring not to speak more out of enjoying the natural sounds of the ocean than shyness. He dislikes arguments and hostility, but will protect himself and his family by any means necessary. While in a friend's company, Zritz is kind, compassionate, and generally has a personality entirely unfit for how he looks. In terms to relationships- well, he doesn't really want one, although he can appreciate the finer bodies in life.
History:
Abraham was raised in a close-knit family. His parents owned a boat in the docks, taking it out frequently for trips to watch the Tentacool and Mantine swim through the waves. By the age of 16, he'd started calling himself Zritz, as one of his past girlfriends had nicknamed him this for unknown reasons. While out on the sea with his father, he was watching a school of Tentacool and Tentacruel swim by, when something out of he ordinary caught his eye. A Squirtle, being attacked by a stray Tentacool. Zritz dived in the water and snatched the Squirtle away from the crazed water Pokemon, getting away with little more than a few stinging bruises.
He named the Squirtle Forte, after the strong area of a sword. He and his mother, who was a kind soul by nature, nursed the Squirtle back to health, and Forte and Zritz bonded over the weeks it took. As Zritz learned to handle a larger sword than his dagger, Forte followed him to his training sessions with his father, watching with eager eyes. Finally, one day after practicing, the Squirtle expressed interest in helping Zritz's training. Zritz, unknowing of what this help would be, agreed, and with a flash of light and a happy "Squirtle squirt!", Forte infused his being into the sword Zritz had been learning to handle.
It glowed bright blue for a moment, before settling back down to it's normal sheen. The handle had changed from a worn wood to brown material that felt as hard as a shell.
Fighting Style: Zritz goes into fights with a more 'first move means victory' attitude. He may take his time occasionally, but generally, he rushes into battle with sword out and adrenaline rushing. His father taught him how to use a sword to it's full potential, and what spots on the human body are the weakest to puncture wounds.
In battles that don't endanger anyone he loves, he goes all out, rushing in head-first with the intention to render the enemy either unconscious or otherwise incapacitated. However, if any of his loved ones are in direct danger, he will aim for the kill with no regard for his own personal safety.
Weapon of Choice: Small dagger, usually hidden in his pocket. Used for quick jabs to the jugular or face to distract or paralyze.
Other: Anon is hott? cl

Pokemon
Species: Squirtle
Name: Forte
Gender: Male
Description: Large scar on the top layer of his shell from the Tentacool attack; green eyes instead of fuchsia.
Personality: Forte is more of the outgoing, excitable member of the partnership. He prefers to think out his attacks rather than rush straight into them, causing Zritz and he to have arguments frequently. However, they never escalate into anything violent, and usually end with Zritz realizing Forte is right. Forte loves water, and dislikes electric and poison types for their fatal attacks and the scars that still haunt him, respectively. The tiny Squirtle loves to attention, but when crowded will freak out and retreat into his shell.
Other: Forte is extremely afraid of Tentacools.

Soul Weapon
Type: Full Sword
Description: A well-kept blade with a brown shell-esque hilt. The hilt is engraved with a silver depiction of the body of a Squirtle, body crouched and ready for combat.
Attacks:
Aqua Tail: He twists his sword and it glows bright blue, causing a burst of water to spurt out of the tip of the blade.
Skull Bash: Zritz rushes at the opponent, raising his sword to forehead level and bashing into them with the full weight of both his body and the steely edge of his sword.
Water Pulse: Gripping his sword with two hands, he thrusts it towards the opponent, causing a large pulse of water to fire at the enemy.
Protect: A bright pulse of blue light surrounds his body, lending him a temporary shield of sorts. It fades within 30 seconds.

Glad you're healthy and safe. c;
