[Neo Blaze]

During the livestream containing new information for the Sword and Shield DLC, they revealed a video featuring a song by the popular Japanese band Bump of Chicken. The music video was made to commemorate the upcoming release of The Crown Tundra. While it's not related to any current Pokémon anime or manga, the video does contain some great animation so I thought I'd share it here:

I can bet that those 3 seconds of Mewtwo launching an attack against Greninja in the MV will be so much more satisfying than what we will actually get for Mewtwo's appearance in the main series anime...

Also, did they reference actual Z-moves in the MV at all? We saw Gigantamax very prominently, and Steven also showed off Mega Evolution for a split second, but all we got for Z-moves is Lillie and Selene striking a pose?

Finally, I'm glad we got so many cameos, but not having Looker or any of the Frontier Brains makes me a bit sad... We got the Battle Chatelaines and the Subway Bosses on the first two billboards at the end, why not cram in the Frontier Brains on the other billboards at the back? As for Looker, I feel like he could have had his silhouette shown right after the villainous team leaders had theirs shown.

I absolutely love the video and song, but it's kind of a bummer that all that beautiful animation is jam packed in a 3-minute music video and that everything moves so fast, because there is some beautiful shots in there. Plus little things you'd never see in the anime like all type specialists interacting.

I watched that exact scene frame by frame and all protags starting from gen3 to gen7 appear, but not those two. Then again I didn't see the let's go protags either.

In that case, I assume they use the protags from the very first games of that gen? Which means Leaf and Krys aren't in (and by extent Lyra) since RB and GS only had a male protagonist.

Lyra's in two separate scenes so she is definitely in. It's odd they left those two out however, Kris I get, why Leaf?
