Mega Charizard Y confirms Mega Evolution, though I'm still not sure how that would be done. (Maybe like Burst attacks in Etrian Mystery Dungeon, or Mega Evolutions in Rumble World?)

Also, given that there's evolved starters on the box art...does that mean we'll finally be able to evolve before the storyline ends?! (...probably not, it just looks cooler.)

Regarding the trailer, it does seem to be standard "you gotta save the world" stuff (given that Legendary and Mythical Pokemon are typically very important to keeping the world balanced ((but not the competitive world))), though to be honest I can get behind saving the world.
