Mega Mewtwo Y joins the fray!
As previously announced, Mewtwo's second Unite License, featuring Mega Mewtwo Y, is now available. Mewtwo's first Unite license, featuring Mega Mewtwo X, released last month on July 21st.

Mega Mewtwo Y is a Ranged Attacker with Novice Difficulty. Featuring very high Offense and high Mobility, Mega Mewtwo Y can inflict astounding damage from a safe distance. Just like Mega Mewtwo X, Mewtwo can Mega Evolve through the Mega Gauge, starting at Level 5, filling the Mega Gauge over the course of a match when attacking opponents with its basic attacks and moves. Both Mewtwo Unite licenses also feature the same set of four moves, and the same unite move.
  • Move 1 options at Level 5 include:
    • Future Sight: Knocks back the Pokémon, slows it down and increases Mewtwo's damage to the targeted Pokémon while the effect is active.
    • Psystrike: Slows down the opponent and, at the end, explodes, also inflicting damage on nearby enemes; the more distant the user is, the more damage the move does.
  • Move 2 options at Level 7 include:
    • Recover: Grants the user a shield for a short time and heals HP according to the basic attack damage the user dealt to an enemy; after the shield is removed, the user's cooldowns are reduced and the Mega Gauge increases.
    • Teleport: Can teleport the user to a desired location, boosting the user's movement speed and damage dealt; makes basic attacks increase the Mega Gauge greatly after used. Can be used again once after entering in cooldown again.
  • Unite Move: Infinite Psyburn, which affects enemies below the circled area, and lefts the enemy unable to act for a short time, along with having its Defense decreased.

Mewtwo's Crystal Cave Part 2
Part 2 of the Mewtwo's Crystal Cave event is now live! Players can participate in the event every day to collect Y Cave Coins and exchange them for Unite License Y: Mewtwo! Players who already own the Martial Arts Style (X): Mewtwo holowear can also obtain Martial Arts Style (Y): Mewtwo at no cost during the event.

As per Part 1 of this event, Mewtwo's Crystal Cave Part 2 has players continuing their exploration of a Crystal Cave looking for the traces of Mewtwo. The event functions like a board game mini-game. Players receive 1 die per day when they log in during the event, which can be rolled to advance the number of squares indicated. This die can be rerolled using Aeos Gems, up to a maximum of 5 times. When players land on a square, they unlock tile missions with different difficulty levels based on the square's number of stars. Landing on a lucky square will allow players to advance an additional 1-3 squares randomly. Players cannot roll the die again until they've completed one of the tile missions of the square they are currently on. Players can also pay 20 Aeos Gems to effectively skip a mission.

When players reach a point on the map where the path branches, they can choose which way to go, with a set chance of obtaining more rewards if they choose the path with higher difficulty level tile missions. Players can also obtain die in the new Battle Map Panic Parade for event points.

Mewtwo traces obtained from this event can be exchanged in the Crystal Cave Exchange for rewards such as Mewtwo's license, a background, a frame, Aeos Coins Boost cards, Battle Point Boost cards, Item Enhancers and Aeos Tickets.
