Brad turned away from Luna when she slapped him. He couldn't believe that his relationship with her might be ending because of this misunderstanding. He got up a stormed away, fighting back tears.
Why did I have to yell at her. I could have been kind about it.
Brad stormed into the Contest Hall, his face red from fighting back the tears.
Luna saw him leave, and then sat back on the bench and resumed crying. Then, she felt something furry graze her feet. She looked up and saw a Brown puppy looking pokemon looking at her.
"Hello..." she looked at the pokemon. It jumped up on her lap.
"Vee!" It cried out. Luna smiled a bit and began stroking it's fur.
"Me and my boyfriend are fighting right now...why am I telling you this? You're an eevee." the Eevee licked her face, and made her laugh a little.
Brad sat down furiously in the audience and buried his face in his hands, trying to avoid the embarrassment of being seen crying. He wiped away his tears and sat up, looking at the TM and the Pokeball sitting in the seat next to him. He grabbed the Pokeball and opened it.
The little blue snake-like Pokemon popped out. "Dratini!" He cheered happily. Brad picked up the little snake.
Luna was sitting on the bench, petting the Eevee and telling it all her problems.
"And now...I think he's gonna leave me..." she said sadly. The Eevee seemed annoyed that Luna was just sitting and crying, instead of doing something about it.
"Vee!" The Eevee chirped as it jumped off her lap and began walking towards the Contest Hall. Luna seemed confused and followed it.
Brad looked at the little Dratini, he seemed not to have a care in the world. "You are so lucky. You don't have to worry about relationship problems. You just get to be a Dratini and don't have to worry about any of this stuff." He laughed to himself. He looked at the entrance, wishing that Luna would just walk in and apologize.
Brad closed his eyes. Dratini wandered off towards Mr. Gibles and Clefairy. "Hi, what's your name?!" He asked Mr. Gibles.
"Hmm...here's a good spot. Go Phaetos!" Jake summoned his Gastly to train before heading to the Gym.
"Phaetos! Energy Ball, and aim for that bush!" Jake commanded as Gastly launched a green ball towards it. After a few seconds, the bush started to move. A Muk popped out.
"What the-" Jake was interrupted by the Muk's Gunk Shot, but Jake quickly jumped up and dodged it, landing behind the Muk. "Hmm...Phaetos, are you ready for some training?" Jake asked his Gastly who started to smile.
"I see. What made you change your mind?" Winter asked. Mr. Gibles was trying to get Clefairy's attention, but Dratini kept interrupting him.
"My trainer is a girl named Luna, and she's out somewhere..." Mr. Gibles was getting annoyed. The Eevee led Luna into the audience and sat down. Luna looked up and realized where she was at.
"Why did you bring me here!?" she asked in total shock.
Brad saw the entrance to the Contest Hall open and Luna walked inside. He wished he could go over to her and apologize, but he already said his apology. Going over there now wouldn't help anything. Brad stayed in his seat and looked at his feet.
"Oh, she's the trainer that bought me, right? I was so excited that I could finally get out of that Game Corner!" Dratini cheered.
Clefairy wandered off towards Winter since she wasn't talking to Mr. Gibles anymore. "Hi Winter. Hi Hyper." She cheered.
