Pokemon you used to dislike, but have grown fond of over time.

Slowking. I didn't like Psychic Mons from the get-go, and Slowking was rather meh. Sure, it had a nice role in the Lugia movie (and wanted someone to please give him some pants), but overall the Mon is just kinda forgettable. Plus, it was yet another trade evolution, now with an extra condition tacked on, something that's been the bane of my early days. However, it's grown on me. Or, rather, it's Galarian Form has. Regular Slowking is still meh to me, but ever since its Galarian Form was recommended to me I've grown to like it. Not only is its evolution heavily simplified, being more akin to a Stone evolution, but it's actually taken Slowking's rather bland design and made it more interesting, what with the Shellder clamped on its head now acting more like a mind-control parasite and even replacing Slowking's normal eyes (and most of its face, for that matter) for Shellder's. Plus, Poison/Psychic is quite a harmonious typing with some great benefits, along with a much more fun movepool to play with. Sure, it's still as slow as ever, but that typing combined with its bulk and 2 self-healing powers: Slack Off and the coveted Regenerator, means it has a lot of longevity at its disposal. Yeah, I know, the normal Slowking has the same properties, but Galarian Slowking makes them far more interesting. So, I thank @Enzo here who recommended G-Slowking to me, as the Galarian Form redeemed the Slowpoke line (or at least Slowking itself) to me.
