No, there will be another season after this one. This season will end after Ash gets his last badge, but before he competes in the Sinnoh Tournament. I'm not sure why they are not just finishing up with the Championship this season though, it makes no sense. Unless they are going to focus ALOT on Contests next season.

That would be interesting. Perhaps they're doing a test run to see how the show goes using Contests as the main priority. It would be the first time ever that Ash and his Pokemon Master goals take a backseat to someone else. I still think a whole season for a tournament and contests would be pretty lame =/

Sounds boring to me. Contests are "meh" to me...'cept for when Musashi's in 'em, from what I've seen of DP.

^I think the reason that is is because Dawn really doesn't have a good rival. Sure, they're decent, but their interactions with Dawn are just not interesting.

Also, Dawn's only got 4 ribbons...and she's been to 8 or 9 contests, which is why we may get bored of them.

But we're off topic now.

1.Bulbasaur and the Hidden Village

Ash:Gee, I wonder what happened to Brock.
Misty:I don't know.
Ash:Maybe the river carried him far away, all the way to the ocean. Then some pirates found him and brough him aboard their ship and one of the pirates has a wooden leg.
Misty:You have the craziest imagination.
Pikachu:Kachu.
Ash:(narrows his eyes) Then came the storm...

2.Electric Shock Showdown

Joy:They say when two people fight, they really care for each other.
Ash/Misty:(blush) Me care about him/her!? Hmph!

3.Beauty and the Beach

Misty:What's wrong?
Ash:Nothing. It's just weird seeing you looking like a girl.
Misty:Wha!? (blushing, angered) Well see how weird this looks!
(Misty throws the beach ball at Ash's face, thus causing him to sink underwater)

^ Let's see how you go with these 3 :)

I agree. Which is why I can't believe there would be another season for just contests. I believe Ash is getting his final badge in the Galactic Battles series. It would have to be REALLY dragged out to have a whole season dedicated to one ribbon and a Sinnoh League tournament. I personally like the D/P more than I liked Advanced Generation, and I don't think I could stomach that. That would also mean 4 seasons to 1 region, which would be the longest ever.

I don't think this is even friend-shippy. Not a hint IMO

2.Electric Shock Showdown

Joy:They say when two people fight, they really care for each other.

Basically the entire basis of our ship. The hate to love, love to hate, yet still love one another relationship. Major hint.

Not really a hint. I remember back when I first saw this episode when I was 8 or so, I thought Misty looked hot ^.^ [/offtopic]

Anyway, are these all being archived or something so we can update... whatever we're supposed to be updating?

All of those can be seen back on pages 285-287 :)

This ship held on for many years

^ If that ship pulls into port lines like

Ash:(Blushing) No way! You're crazy!
Misty:(Also blushing) Crazy is right! Never in a million years

^ Will become an everyday thing for us here :)

I believe this is pretty much whats happening :/ But this season ends with Ash trying to help a Gible learn Draco Meteor. Whoohoo fun :p And 2 Johto travelers join their group and begin traveling with them by the end of this season. So could it possibly be that next season will be slowly shifting focus away from Ash, before they take him out of the show? Eh, there I go, speculating again :p

Anyways

Hidden Village: I don't think that's much of a hint at all.

Electric Shock Showdown: This is most definitely a hint.

Beauty and the Beach: I think this just kinda show's that Ash does notice females, he just doesn't notice them often :p

Even though she's not going to, I'd honestly kill for Misty to make a DP appearance. I really want her to meet Dawn so I can see how they interact (hopefully I can get even more interesting in Oystershipping :D). I want to see Misty with some new water Pokemon, and most importantly, I want more Pokeshipping!

I want a DP appearance myself, but I'm trying not to get my hopes too much. Right now, I'm just so happy that I get to challenge Misty in the HGSS game. However, my inner-fangirl still wishes to see Misty in the anime. I also do want her to interact with Dawn (although I have this feeling she would fangirl over Misty). Anyway, I find the idea of Dawn having a Togekiss revolting. Dawn can have those other cute Pokemon but why give her a Togekiss? That would be a ripoff from Misty.

I thought exactly the same. Togepi was something special and rare for Misty. And why second stadium of Togepi evolution goes to Dawn. I really don't like this idea.

1. Isn't really a hint, imo. Seems more just friendly chit chat.

2. That's definitely a hint. (I just watched that part of the episode again.) They looked almost afraid to be told that as they were looking at each other then they both turned away as they hmphed so I feel that's a clear indicator that something more is there than just not liking each other.

3. Could be used to support other evidence since it's showing that Ash has started to take notice of Misty and her appearance. Also, it could be strengthened by the fact that during "Challenge of the Samurai", Misty was lounging around in a bikini with Pikachu while Ash was trying to win a Metapod vs. Metapod battle and he didn't notice at all. (I admit, that was probably just fanservice and comic relief, but it's there so it could be used. lol)

Concerning the D/P appearance, I'd love to see it, but I'm not getting my hopes up. Though if they do another season in Sinnoh just for the tournament and contests, they could bring Misty in with something water related or Togepi, and evolutions, related to help pass the time and do something besides training and contests.

I agree that it'd be a shame to have Dawn get a Togikiss. Especially since she doesn't have a Togepi and would have to get a Togetic somewhere and have a Shiny stone for the evolution (though getting the stone probably wouldn't be a problem). Perhaps the reasoning behind Dawn getting Togekiss is to give her an aspect like Misty. She's already somewhat dense like Ash at times and is a coordinator like May so they could be attempting to make Dawn the perfect storm of a character. Sorry, my imagination wanted to run wild.

Interesting, as I didn't hear of Dawn getting a Togikiss. Perhaps they're trying to make her character more appealing to new generations. Remember, most of the newer fans don't know who Misty is, or any real details about her character. The perfect character thing is a reason I think Dawn is going to be the main character of the series in the future.

That's not our problem. They have Pokemon Sunday and they may see Misty in older episodes.

Well, it's our problem if the writers are trying to appeal to this generations newest viewers. I don't know what Pokemon Sunday is, but I'll assume it's something exclusive to Japanese audiences, which, if they're trying to keep Pokemon fans in America up-to-date, they would appeal to things only available in the U.S. (seeing as how Pokemon is still a decently large market here).

Giving Dawn a Togikiss wouldn't do much anyway. I mean, Misty would lose some of her exclusivity, but I don't think TPCi ever was a big fan of Misty, and if they are planning on removing Ash as the main character, giving Dawn a cute electric Pokemon (Pachirisu), a lovable proud runt that stays out of its Pokeball and refuses to evolve (Piplup) and now a cute looking flying thing (Togikiss) it would appear to me that they're shifting ideas and thinking about future generations.

I don't know what Pokemon Sunday is

This is program in Japan. They show there odler episodes, news about pokemon and other stuff. Each Sunday they show one older episodes, recently was Misty with Togepi in Hoenn "A Togepi Mirage". So then they might see Misty. And I think they know Misty.

Assuming kids in Japan do watch Pokemon Sunday. I don't know how things go over there, but I know that DP is insanely popular and I'm sure tons of kids don't know who Misty is, unfortunately. Which means an appearance from Misty in DP is unlikely. At Pallet Town she might show up, but I wouldn't hope for anything greater.

Dana, I seriously doubt that there are plenty of kids in Japan who don't know Kasumi. Yes DP is popular, but that also means that Pokemon Sunday and the old reruns on Kids Station are popular! I think the amount of kids who don't know who she is is a very small minority.

Oh, I'm sure there are tons of kids over there who know who Misty is, but it would make sense if there were kids who didn't know who she was.

Yeah, I'm sure there are some (there always are :p), but I bet there are just as many kids who don't know who Kengo, Naoshi and Urara are, and they happen to make up more than half of Hikari's apparent GF rivals ;-) So Kasumi not making a DP episode wouldn't have anything to do with her being unknown is all I'm saying.

Well regardless, I don't see Misty previously having a Togepi as a reason enough for Dawn to not have one. I think it's a good thing, honestly. If Dawn becomes the main character, then Ash's saga ends, leaving an epilogue possible.

Highly unlikely, but a thought.
