What if Ash and Misty happened to suffer the super-cliché "fall-on-top-of-each-other-with-faces-two-inches-apart"?

They would both super freak out with blushing the "the size of Russia" and quickly separate, really surprised (who wouldn't be?) and awkward around each other.

And then someone would say something to break the "awkwardness" of it all, causing Ash and Misty to bicker.

Um, I think Misty would kiss Ash and call it an accident. Then they'd blush.

They'd probably look at each other blankly while blinking eyes for a while then... They'd both freak out, whith lots of blushing and I can imagine Misty slapping Ash, to hide her feelings.

"You pevert, what you think you're doing... I...", she'd say, while arguing with Ash.
Then they'd notice they are arguing too close... with their months really close to each other... aaaaaand... They'd blush like hell again while the third wheel (Brock, maybe?) is giggling. Ash and Misty notice they're acting like "fools", and they'd turn their back to each other while still blushing and both say "Bah!".

After that my Pokéshipping world would only be asking for THE kiss *_*

New topic, anyone?

I've liked most of the replies thus far, but in my mind, there are two scenarios that could happen.

1.) Ash falls on top of Misty and there's lots of awkwardness before Brock (or insert other third wheel) either calls out to them or catches them which leads to much arguing, blushing and laughing on the part of anyone else around. :-D

2.) Misty falls on top of Ash, there's awkwardness as Ash doesn't try pushing Misty off and Misty struggles with wanting to kiss him since their current position would allow for it to "accidentally" happen. Again, a third party calls out or catches them but this time, no arguing unless Ash tries asking Misty what she was trying to do thus prompting Misty to bring back her trusty mallet.

Now a challenge to fan fic writers, can you combine both in a convincing story? I'd try but I really struggle with Pokemon characters for some reason.

Here's mine.

Before they knew it, they found themselves staring at each others' eyes. Their faces only an inch apart. They could feel each others breathing. With hearts beating as one, they move closer until their lips almost touched. They couldn't understand it but they felt drawn toward each other, they felt the urge to hold each other.

Just then, Brock called out to them. Realizing their situation, they scrambled to get back up. Their faces were beet red. None uttered a word. They felt too awkward.

As Brock walked up to them, telling them dinner was ready, he noticed something strange with his friends. Smiling, he said, "Did you two fight again?"

Misty was the first one to answer. "Ash had one of his clumsy moments again!"

Ash got annoyed and retorted, "Well, excuse me for falling on top of you!"

Brock raised a brow. "You fell on top of her."

"I can't believe you! Why didn't you get up right away?! You're face was too close for comfort!" Misty exclaimed, balling her hands into a fist.

"Well, you seemed comfortable a while ago. And you were even willing to kis--"

Misty cut him off. "DON'T SAY IT!!!" She knocked him out with a mallet, blushing furiously, and ran off.

Brock sighed. "Okay... Now I can picture what happened. Ah... Young love..."

I also love the ideas everyone has came with! Dang... why can't it happen in the anime? -sigh-

Anyway, I could try to write a fan fiction as I love to write but I have two dilemas:

1) I've only watched recently until mid 3rd season, thus I'm afraid I'll go OOC;

2) English isn't my first language, and all I know I learned half in school and half by myself, so I'm not sure my grammar is at into the level to write something longer than 10 lines...

When I face the dilemma of OOCness, I consult other fans about the characters before I write the story. I try to know the characters well enough by watching episodes that focuses on them. I don't start writing if I'm not sure how the characters talk, react, interact, and battle. If you need help with the characterization, there are fans here that can help you write the story. You can even write one now and ask for other fans' opinion on it.

Hmmm, so I tried to write the first part of a Fan Fiction, if you can call it so. I'd just like to know if it's IC enough, because if it is, I think I can pick the trail. If it isn't, I can too! This is mostly with Misty's character at the moment. In case you're wondering what moment it is, it's in AG only because I don't know Dawn as I know May (although I'm not a May expert eighter)

So, open the spoiler to access the 1st Part of my sketchy Fan Fic.

The Pokécenter of Azelia Town is, like most Pokécenters, a round building with a Pokéball as roof. Inside, there’s the Pokémon hospital, a canteen for angry travelers and some rooms, for the tired ones. In one of these rooms, a boy was sitting on the lower bed of a bunk. It was already night, so it was hard to distinguish his traits. However, it was possible to tell he had dark hair and bold eyebrows. He was dressing jeans, probably blue ones, and a dark shirt.
The boy was holding a letter, which he was reading for the twentieth time in that night.
The letter said the following:

Ash,
I know I didn’t talk with you for long, nor you did with me. However, Prof. Court told Prof. Oak you arrived at Azelia today, and Prof. Oak told me, because he knew we didn’t see for long. I also thought it would be a good opportunity to see you and Brock once again. I’m aware you’re going to Pallet, so I’m going there also. It’ll be the perfect chance for me, you and Brock meet once again!
Miss you two,
Misty

“After all, she didn’t forget us. That’s a good thing, I guess”, thought Ash.
He sighed heavily. It was more than time to sleep.

Grammar help and such is also appreciated ^_^

I have just noticed that this thread is not linked to in the Bulbapedia Pokeshipping article, as Pearl's thread is in its article.

This must change.

The part where Misty said, "we didn't see long..." I think you should add some words to this sentence like "we didn't see each other for a long time..."

Well, other than that, I think it's great.

I love how people ask if they can join.

Everybody! There's no asking to join Pokeshipping! It's like joining a religion (perhaps that's a bad comparison...), you either believe or you don't!

If you believe, then welcome! If you don't, well... The reactions differ amongst different people.
Personally, I opt for the broadsword.

A religion isn't really a good comparison because you can multiship with us. Unfortunately there are some shippers that will condemn you if you do so, so those are more "religious" shippers..

Perhaps joining a so-called "club" where all you have to do is show up, support, and participate is a better comparison?

That's what it is to begin with, except online :XD:

Well, hope you guys enjoy it around here!
