Event Bonuses and Activities
The following event bonuses will be active throughout the event's 3-hour period:
- 3× XP for catching Pokémon
- Incense (except Daily Adventure Incense) activated during the event will last for three hours
- Lure Modules activated during the event will last for three hours
- Trainers can receive a special surprise by taking a few in-game snapshots during the event period
Additionally, Porygon2 that are evolved into PorygonZ between 2:00pm and 7:00pm local time on the day of the Community Day Classic will learn the Charged Attack Tri Attack. This attack has 65 power in Trainer Battles, with a chance of lowering the opposing Pokémon's Attack and Defense; and 75 power in Gyms and Raids.
Field and Timed Research
Community Day exclusive Field Research will be available during the event, awarding additional encounters with Porygon, along with items rewards including Stardust and Great Balls. A Porygon Community Day Classic Special Research story will also be available for purchase starting later this month, at US$1.00 (or the equivalent pricing tier in each local currency). This Special Research can also be gifted to any friend with a Friendship level of Great Friends or higher.
Community Day themed Timed Research will also be available on the day of the event between 2:00pm and 7:00pm local time. This research will award 3 Upgrades and 3 Sinnoh Stones on completion.
Event Bundles in the in-game shop and Web Store
Two different bundles will be available from the in-game shop during this event. The first bundle, which costs 1,350 PokéCoins, includes 50 Ultra Balls, 5 Super Incubators, 1 Elite Charged TM, and 5 Lucky Eggs. The second bundle, costing 480 PokéCoins, includes 30 Ultra Balls, 1 Incense, 3 Super Incubators, and 1 Lure Module.
Additionally, the Pokémon GO Web Store will be offering its own special bundle for $US9.99 (or the equivalent pricing tier in each local currency). This bundle includes 120 Ultra Balls, 15 Silver Pinap Berries, 6 Basic Incubators, and 1 Incense.
