I need a complete hold off on Fire/Fighting or fighting related Starter concepts for at least 3 generations. There can be a non-starter Fire/Fighting that fits your description.
Even if Scorbunny does end up being fire/Fighting, it’s going to be not that different from Infernape and Blaziken, and there’s no way it’s going to be defensive.

As someone whose favourite type is fire, and who wants to like Fire type starters, I'm tired of all my starters ending up as fighters, wrestlers or martial artists. Stealth Rocks be damned. They need a nerf anyway.

Hey I'm rootin for Scorbunny to become a fairy bunny rather than a fighter bunny.
 
I think the next trailer is gonna focus on galar forms/evolutions and team yell

てっていこうせん = Do-or-Die (Tette ikou sen)
can also be said as
徹底抗戦 = Impenetrable Defense (Tettei kōsen)

Might need a proficient Japanese speaker to verify tho!

well, i know the pic is too blurry to make out much but i was thinking that maybe it could be an evolution of Grookey. Like a Xylophone Gorilla. Honestly when looking at it Donkey Kong came to mind.
