YouTubers usually just turn down the volume on the TV or recording, though.

It's not like Pokemon has had those types of controls in the past though. So I don't know what the big deal about the ear buds is.

I do think it's not a big deal, but it's also a really dumb decision. Basic quality of life stuff that doesn't affect gameplay at all should doesn't need to be locked behind progress like that. And then you have your options in the bag, too, which isn't very intuitive.

i suppose it is a bit unconventional, but at least it's with something that's not crucial, plus it's in the first other town you go to.

It's not the end of the world, but it's still inconvenient and a poor design choice to not make the feature available at the start of the game.

To be fair, we do still get trailers after release sometimes as well as ones for mythicals/distributions.

I figure the art will release soon, perhaps even tomorrow, though this is just speculation; I don’t know when Sugimori art for previous gens released.
