Question on Zygarde? Potential Loophole

If you transfer Zygardes from other games, and separate them to reach 100 cells, can you get Power Construct Zygarde, or does that only trigger after having found 100 cells in your own game.

What I mean is If I only found 50 and then got another 50 zygarde either from a friend or from XY when bank updates, can I just separate that one and get Power Construct?
