I recently found a lot of old Japanese pokemon cards that I used to buy for my son (now 30 years old). The cards are over 20 years old and appear to be from the Quick Starter Gift Set (TCG) but all cards have the rarity symbol. On Bulbapedia the set is discussed but they speak of cards without the rarity symbol. The cards have a glossy frontside and do not come from a vending machine . What's the story behind these cards ? Do they still have any value ?

Regards from Belgium , Patson
