I think this is a great idea, and i want in. im playing red and i have a question about glitches. i want to know if we can use "Poke-yielders".

Can I just say for the sake of fairness that no one use glitches? If one person doesn't want to use them then no one should use them. No I'm not entering but I felt I should give my opinion on the matter. You don't cheat to win or race... or use roms.

I'm going to start on blue. I would back up with stadium but i'm just going to trade my good pokemon to silver as i dont have stadium.

Yeah, it's fine if you get the game going a little bit...the only thing I've really managed to get done for myself is planning what pokemon I'm gonna use and stuff. I'm excited to really start this tomorrow!

I'm in agreement with Ryuu... no glitches at all. because then we end up with everyone using the mew glitch and the rare candy glitch which completely ruins the spirit of the competition.

anyways, I'll be playing with my copy of red. (assuming it works)

What do you mean depending on our timezone? Is it midnight in every timezone? I thought it was a certain time for all (as in, 12 AM for one time but another that might be 11)

I have a Super Gameboy, but my SNES is pretty finicky; you have to hold the games in at the right angle to get it to work at all.

Yeah, it's a certain time for all. I mean, it's almost midnight where I live (which marks the start of the race) but I wouldn't exactly say it starts soon for me since I'm gonna be asleep when it starts haha...lousy choice of words on my part
