Raikou Research event coming to Pokémon Sleep in March - free Pokémon Day Broadcast Commemorative Gift and paid Bundles now available

Sleep Researchers will soon be getting their first opportunity to observe the sleep styles of a Legendary Pokémon, with a new event featuring Raikou announced for Pokémon Sleep during today's Pokémon Presents video presentation. This event is set to begin sometime during March.

As of writing, relatively few details have been released about how this event will function. Players will apparently collect Raikou mane samples in-game through some undisclosed means, which can then be exchanged for Raikou Incense to lure the Pokémon so players can research the sleep styles of this Legendary beast. The event is also apparently being crafted with new Sleep Researchers in mind, so even rookies just picking up the game for the first time will have an opportunity to research Raikou's sleeping styles, and potentially even befriend the Pokémon and add it to their party.

The event's announcement notes that Electric-type Pokémon will be highly useful for this event, so players are advised to ensure they can find, level, and evolve some Pokémon of these types prior to the start of the event. Electric-type Pokémon currently available in Pokémon Sleep include Pikachu, Raichu, Jolteon, Pichu, Mareep, Flaaffy, and Ampharos.

To mark the broadcast of the Pokémon Presents video presentation this Pokémon Day,
a special gift is now being distributed in-game. This gift includes:

• Poké Biscuit ×10
• Diamond ×1000

These presents will be available for all current players, as well as any players who register before April 30th at 6:59am (UTC).

In further celebration of Pokémon Day, a selection of special Pokémon Day 2024 Bundles will be released on the in-game store from Wednesday February 28th at 4:00am (UTC). This bundles will remain available to purchase funtil Thursday March 7th, at 3:59am (UTC).

Up to 3 Pokémon Day 2024 Bundle S can be purchased by each player, for 250 diamonds each. Each bundle will contain:

• Poké Biscuit ×2
• Handy Candy S ×4

Each player may only purchase a single Pokémon Day 2024 Bundle M, at a cost of 1,200 diamonds. These bundles will include:
