Red meat is basically all the meat that comes from a mammal. The other kind of neat, white meat, comes from fish and chicken.

It is possible. I'm a living proof.

And sure pizza is good. I just don't eat it every week.
Ah. And I love pizza myself. You know, for a very long time, I used to prefer Margherita. But after trying it, decided to have Pepperoni be my main choice if I'm going for one.

Pepperoni is my favorite topping too.
It is not possible. At least not for me.
I'm not absolute about it either. I just try to eat as little pizzas as hamburgers as possible.

I don’t not eat beef for ideological reasons, mind you. Cows are kosher.
I just never developed a taste for it. To me, eating beef always felt like I was eating my leather jacket. In fact, if you look closely at my leather jacket, you’ll see some teeth marks in it from where I just had to prove my point to someone who thought I was exaggerating.
I can be silly sometimes...

Still, ideological reasons or not, it's good.

I enjoy beef less these days. Im eating less due to certain ethical reasons, I like it but its something I can do without. Id also just rather have really good beef less often.

Oh, it does get rather uncomfortable, knowing of the plight of billions of creatures and feeling powerless to stop it. No winning choice most days between speaking my mind and looking like an asshole, or saying nothing and feeling like one instead. I suppose I’ve gotten numb to it over the years, but I still long for the day I can make a bigger difference.

Well, nature itself is a brutal place where perhaps billions of lives are lost on a daily basis in a constant fight for survival. Besides, kielbasa is delicious.

Oh, true, nature isn’t some cozy picnic devoid of suffering, that I can grasp. Just as humans have invented many comforts and luxuries, they’ve also devised many cruel conditions for other creatures nature hasn’t dared dream up, too. And if I can reduce what suffering happens through my choices by even a little, I’m of the mind that it makes sense to try.

Gee, it’s been about four years now since the fateful day I watched the documentary that made me think about the issue and decide to change.

I’ve stopped eating any kind of meat after reading a book in Language Arts class several years ago about what goes on in the industry. * Shudders *

I could never be a vegan, I like animal products too much. Even being a vegetarian would probably be asking too much of me.
