I’d call it obsession more than patience...
And you'd be somehow right.
With me, the reason why I can be tenacious sometimes is because I hate incompleteness. I hate leaving things midway through. Even when I really should be focusing on something else. It's my Asperger affecting my mind, and it's not always easy to handle.

I used to have really bad OCD. I’ve managed to quash most of it, but I do feel irresistably obsessed or compelled to do things every once in a while, and it is still part of my daily routine.
I always have to check a lock at least three times before I am convinced it’s locked, and I always feel compelled to check that the door to the gas tank in my car has been shut after filling my car. I need to do this at least twice or else I will panic.

I won't panic, but for example, I once left the fridge door open by accident for several hours, and as such, I'm now obsessed with making absolutely sure it's shut when I go to sleep or leave the home for a longer period of time.

Well, I say “panic,” it isn’t quite that extreme, but I did slam the brakes on my car after I got in and started driving and had to stick my head out the window to check on the door.

One example of how I show my tenacity is by doing my damnest to add info to Bulbapedia. I've gone over dozens upon dozens of YouTube videos to figure out, say, NPC Hidden Power types (for which purpose I even created this unsuccessful thread) or the moves and Abilities of Miror B.'s Pokémon from Pokémon XD.

Took a brief break from hatching Trapinch to evolve the second shiny Snorunt I had hatched. Here she is as a lovely Glalie!

it was the luckiest thing ever
