The early 2000s were the video game golden age, and all the music was awesome and high-school-esque rock (The Calling, blink-182, etc) that made you feel like going to a party with red cups and playing Tony Hawks. Urgh. The days before iPhones and iPads and Smartphones and before selfies were an actual thing and when people weren't so determined to take offence at everything.
