But...Coalossal was such a disappointment for me. I had to reluctantly hop off the hype train for Rolycoly’s final evolution, because, well, it’s not a train at all. I’m steamed that they went off the rails when the direction to go with the Rolycoly line was so obvious! What completely loco motive did they have to deprive us of an awesome steam engine Pokémon, especially when it’s right in the ability’s name? Instead we got a generic coal monster that loses what made Rolycoly so interesting in favor of a Marge Simpson hairdo. Forgive me for having a cow, but Coalossal should really have a cowcatcher. I’m disappointed that I won’t be motivated to train Rolycoly because it just can’t be... “trained.”

And as for Carkol...they had sort of the right idea, but...what’s with that face?? They couldn’t keep the permanently glowing cycloptic eye Rolycoly had? And those teeth...those designers were out of their mine for doing my cute coal creature dirty.
