The criteria of being overrated.
Kanto is overrated.
Kanto is overexposed.
Sinnoh is not.
Sinnoh has been in 3 games.
The only regions that have been in less games are Kalos and Galar, and Galar is brand new.

It's my opinion that gen IV is overrated as well.

In my experience, the size of its fanbase is second only to kanto itself.

I look forward to the remakes to an extent and I'm sure I'll enjoy them and the arceus game, but I don't expect them to abolish the soured feelings I've developed towards the generation.
