I mean, I haven't watched the anime since early Best Wishes.

You didn't miss anything significant by doing so. If anything, you saved yourself from a ton of frustration.

See, I stopped watching the anime because BW was awful.

Amen to that, buddy. 'Twas nothing but a gigantic cluster of missed opportunities.

I just don't feel like watching the anime anymore.

XY and S&M were both great, and the newest series has a ton of potential too.

Think I've seen everything from the OS to about halfway through DP and a few bits and pieces of early BW but nothing later than that really.

I've seen most of season 1, pretty much all of the Orange Islands (even though it was never dubbed in Finnish), bits and pieces of Johto (which was also partially skipped in Finland), most of the Advanced Generation, and pretty much everything from Diamond & Pearl onwards. D&P was the first series I followed from start to finish as it aired on TV.
