Cause Charles wants one so bad. Though I'd want a shiny Swirlix for it.
If I can't find a Shiny Trevenant, I sure as hell can't find a Shiny Swirlix.
I think I may try "horde-ing" once again. The Pokeradar in this game sucks. At least the one in DPPt is useable.
Have you tried resetting the Poke Radar in the middle of a chain?
Horde-ing seems better for shiny Trevenant, especially since Trevenant are more common in hordes.
And Foongus are even more common in Hordes than Trevenant. :I
You find Trevenants so easily thanks to Hord-ing.

None of them are shinies yet, though.
Again, Foongus Hordes are more common than Trevenant Hordes.

I just got back from a restaurant with my parents and grandma. Burgers were good, as was the tea
I can't even find a regular Trevenant anymore... ;_;
I tried chaining for one. Think I wasted 20 repels without ever getting a Trevanant...

Have you tried the red flowers on Route 20? Trevenant are more common there.
That's in the forest isn't it? I never even noticed red flowers :s

Yeah, in the area with the male Poke Fan. It's west of the area where the Fairy Tale Girl is running back and forth.

I'll look.

...though I guess it is a bit counter intuitive for me to look for the shiny you want, while you look for the shiny I want :s

Never noticed that with me, I find them just as much as Foongus.

Also, according to Bulbapedia. You will be rivals with Noctowl, Gothorita and Amoongus in Red Flowers.

Bulbapedia said:
The player can "reset" the radar in the middle of the chain without breaking it, simply by recharging the radar and avoiding the current grass patches that have Pokémon in them. When activated again, the radar will generate new patches and the old ones become normal grass patches.

This is probably the most useful thing I've read in years.

I've always done that. Still Doesn't always work. And sometimes no grass shakes :I

The main problem is all of the small grass patches. Nearly each route in DPPt had a "Pokeradar patch"

I think is somewhat true.

I found a Shiny Ursaring easily without trying (I wasn't even looking for a shiny).

I have tipped, like, 50 people on Y, 1000 each time. But the only two Shinies I've found in Gen VI have been on X. IT DOESN'T WORK.
Oh, haha, I just realized I couldn't look for a shiny Swirlix even if I wanted to ;-;

Superior X ;D

It's only because Rainbow prefers Shiny Swirlix to Aromatisse. :I

They have all kinds of superstitions about making shiny Pokemon appear, don't they? As far as I know, giving a lot of tips only gets you a medal.
